Camden knew Mackenna well enough to know when she needed a vacation, even if she didnât say it, he could tell. With school about to start up, and him having spent most of the summer between practice and Tatiana, he figured this little surprise would be the perfect way to secure some time for the two of them. Camden was making a lot more money compared to when they first started fooling around now that heâd essentially worked his way to the top and barely had to do any of the dirty work anymore, plus his scholarship meant more of that money to him and the girls than to school. So, he was determined to make sure that this felt like a lavish trip for Mackenna, maybe a late little birthday trip combined with a getaway so she didnât have to think about her next step all day everyday. He had organized most of it with Mackenzie to make sure the timeline added up and Mackenna stayed in the dark so sheâd actually be surprised, but now that he was pulling up to the front of her house he felt like telling her everything he had planned out of pure excitement. Mackenzie was already opening the large garage to roll out the luggage she had packed for her sister, so even once on the plane Mackenna didnât realize how big the vacation was going to be. After getting the luggage into his car, accompanying his own, he headed inside to call for Mackenna, Mackenzie sneaking back into the living room so it didnât seem weird, âHurry up. Youâre taking too long, I told you we donât got all day woman.â
It wasnât hard for Mackenna to figure out when Camden was up to something. If not for how her sister was acting then the fact that he was in a rush was a quick give away. From the moment he texted her to get ready quickly she had already caught on to the fact that something was up. She didnât know exactly what yet but she was hellbent on finding out. âMaybe I would move faster if you told me what Iâm being rushed for,â the heiress grinned as she climbed into the passengers side of the white sports car she loved so very much. âThis better be good,â she teased, leaning over the center console to press her lips against Camdenâs in a slow but short kiss. Turning her head to the backseat she looked for the little girl who was normally in a car seat behind her. âWhereâs Tati?â Mackenna questioned, her suspicions only growing now.
