keon was a foster kid. his parents had him when they were sixteen & were ill-equipped to take on the responsibility so they did what they thought would give him a better life. unfortunately, he never found a place to call home & wound up in the system until he got out at eighteen.
ever since he was a kid, heโs always been a wanderer. heโd often run away from home & walk the streets or take a bus somewhere, anywhere that wasnโt california. there were rumors that heโd skip out for good & travel the world with his thumb in the air, but somehow or another, he wound up back in san verto at twenty-one & hasnโt left the city since. no one knows the real story behind his return & heโs not about to explain himself either.
heโs super unreliable and will often forget heโs made plans bc his mind is always on the go, go, go. never wanting to be bored, so he fills a lot of his time doing aimless shit like throwing pointed rocks at trees to see if he can stick one into a stump like a ninja star. so most likely heโll be late to things or wonโt show up at all โ he used to apologize for this, but now itโs just part of his character and people are often surprised if he remembers having plans at all.
he has a terrible smoking habit and often keeps a cigarette tucked behind his ear โjust in case he needs oneโ. there have been many times heโs tried quitting, but he hates how irritable he gets without the nicotine so his quitting sprees never last more than a few days.
his skateboard is basically his pride and joy, he doesnโt let anyone touch it. heโs had it since he was ten and the bottom of it is scratched up to bits and the wheels are a little janky. like idk how itโs still viable transportation for him bc he should probably look into getting a new one, but itโs the one thing heโs sentimental about, so heโs not about to let go of it any time soon.
heโs directionless and doesnโt really know what heโs doing with his life because heโs not terribly book smart, but heโs got common sense and knows how to use his hands. i think he just needs a good friend or a parental figure in his life to show him that he doesnโt need to be on the go, go, go all the time and that itโs okay to slow down and smell the roses.
