These bodbots are programmed to help humans by carrying out a human’s job for them. The only problem is that their only source of energy is a human body. This bodbot has been harvesting Rick’s body so he can file some of Rick’s paperwork at the local accounting office. (Sidenote: The green fluid has unfortunately added 220 lbs to Rick’s body over the past month.) •• You can buy this as a print at my InPrnt shop (link in bio). This is for a new animated short I’m working on!! Just kidding I don’t have time for that. This drawing is a revisit of an old animated project (swipe to see old ugly drawing) so I can practice color and rendering. • The original animated short this is based on is called Cloudskipper, about some guy wakeboarding on clouds. The original inspiration for the design was the Gorillaz fictional characters by Jamie Hewlett, and since I didn’t capture the style the first time, this was my second go-around. So I wanted a character to look like he would hang out with 2D, Noodle, Murdoc, and Russel, and also render it in a way that it looked like it’s part of an animated short. Cookiebots were designed with one goal in mind: to be eaten. The problem is that no one wants to eat a robot. So they’ve been fusing themselves with cookies in hopes that one day some unsuspecting slob will eat them and they can finally fulfill their purpose.
