He nods in understanding taking a sip of his drink. âYeah I canâ understand that. though i canât imagine having a night to yourself in a room thatâs packed full of people. Wouldnât a night to yourself be a night curled up on the couch and binge watching?âÂ
Kiara laughed a little, taking another sip of her drink. âUsually. But, Iâm usually asleep early at home.â she said. âI have a year old daughter at home, so Iâm only out tonight because my parents are watching her.â

âA kick in the balls would have set him straight for sureâ Abel laughed at the thought of it. Everything was funny right now. âI wouldnât have the balls to kick somebody in the balls thoughâ he admitted, taking another sip of his drink. âThanksâ he smiled again - not meaning to. âJust- sometimes Iâll smile at the wrong times, you know? People arenât in the mood to be happy - I canât help it though, mum always told me to face everything with a smileâ
âThatâs a pretty good piece of advice.â Kiara nodded. Thatâs how she was raised. To face everything with a smile, although, thatâs what the rich were taught. âIâll smile at the wrong times too. Gets me in trouble a lot.â she laughed.

âOooh lucky you.â He bites back an eye roll, he didnât want to guess what ways she would use to get the charges dropped for something that was assault. âIâm sure you are. So what brings you out tonight? Just for a night of fun?âÂ
Kiara simply shrugged, taking a sip of her drink before licking her lips and looking back at Damien. âYeah, just out for a night of fun. Needed a night to myself, you know?â
kiaragonzalesxo: my beautiful Luna. Words cannot describe how much I love you. Please never grow up. #mamaslilgirl
mrdamienclarkeâ:
He emphasizes a wince and then offers her a smile. âtrue, both would have that affect. Though while I suggested a throat punch, be careful of those guys. Theyâll be happy to press charges against you. They donât generally learn their lessons well.âÂ
âAnd it would be pretty easy to get those charges dropped. At least for me.â she shrugged. That was the nice thing about having money, it could get you things. âPlus, Iâm pretty good at standing up for myself.â
abel-evansâ:
Abel was way too many drinks in - heâd been here for the most part of the day, suffering another panic attack on a shoot, he left and came straight here. It was definitely not the best decision heâs made as of late, but the alcohol calmed him down and thatâs all he could think about at the time. He frowned at the girl next to him, shaking his head. âNobody should tell you to smileâ he said, his words slightly slurred. âYou are beautifulâ he agreed. âPeople usually tell me to stop smilingâ Abel admitted, with a smile of course.
Kiara smiled at Abel, tossing some of her hair over her shoulder. âWhy thank you.â she said. âI should have just kicked him in the balls. Would have shut him up right away.â she laughed. âWhy would they tell you to stop smiling? You have a nice smile.â

âEveryone always looks like theyâd be up for a game of pool.â He hadnât met a single person in the city that wasnât dragging ass and struggling to make things work in one way or another. âI donât take getting my ass kicked by anyone, so letâs start there.â He pointed out, chalking up his cue and looking at her with a quirked eyebrow. âLess talk and more play and then weâll see whoâs really the best.â
Kiara laughed a little, grabbing a pool cue after setting her drink down on a nearby table. âI donât like getting my ass kicked either, so this will be an interesting game.â she smirked. âThat we will.â

Kiara was at a bar in the Upper East Side, happy that her parents had agreed to watch Luna for the evening. She loved her daughter dearly, but she just wanted a night out to herself. She looked at the person next to her and sighed. âAnyway. Some guy came up to me today and told me that I would look prettier if I smiled. I was personally offended as seeing as Iâm already gorgeous.â

People handled situations differently. That he was well aware of. Some were sitting in their homes, trying to process. Others were checking on their friends, trying to resolve things by talking it all out and exploring all of the possibilities. He was happy to go to the same bar he always went to, have a beer against the suggestion of his doctors, and try to play a game of pool in peace before the drunken frat bros took over the place.Â
Picking up the pool cue and taking a sip of his beer, he set the drink down on the edge of the table, casting his gaze to the person on the other side of the table. âYou up for a game? And donât say no. You look like you could use it.â
âDo I look like I could use it, though?â Kiara smirked, taking a sip of her whiskey and coke. She had come to the bar after a long day at work, and her daughter was safe with her parents, so she wasnât worried too much. Of course sheâd check in every now and again. âBut, Iâm totally up for a game. If you can take getting your ass kicked by a girl.â

He had to admit he was bored. Micah hadnât envisioned himself as a needy person, but here was, in New Yorkâs broad daylight. Heâd gotten sick of the nightlife the city had to offer. It had gotten him connections, sure, so he was less of a man on an island, and more a man with secrets. It was normal at this point, the feeling that crept up beside him. He glanced at the people around him in the cafe. They looked normal enough.
Reaching into his pocket, he pulled out his wallet, and pulled out a twenty. Micah waited, sipping an espresso with cream. Someone passed, and he nudged them with a hand. âDid you drop this?â He asked.
Kiara was on her break from work and had decided to walk down to the cafe that was near the building where she worked. She was standing in line, texting her mother to see how her daughter was doing when she felt someone nudge her hand. She turned to see a man holding out a twenty. âUh, no. I donât believe so. I havenât even opened my wallet.â
âshe got that independent, wake up and make shit happen type of vibe.â

Kiara was born in September of 1994 to a couple named Michael and Giselle Gonzales. Michael was a very successful business man, and Giselle was a former model. The pair met when Michael was visiting a fashion show that Giselle was participating in. They met for drinks afterwards, and immediately hit it off. A few months later, they were engaged, and a few months after that they were married. Soon after they were married, their only child, Kiara, was born.
Giselle stayed home with Kiara for about the first month of her life before she decided she wanted to get back into modeling. So, they hired a nanny to take care of their little girl. They made sure all her needs were met, sent her to one of the best private schools in NYC, giving her money when she needed it, and to get her parents attention, she worked hard to get good grades and show them what she was capable of. After graduating high school with honors, Kiara attended NYU for two years for her degree in Communications.
Kiara decided to take a year off, and after talking to her parents, she went and traveled throughout Europe for six months before going to visit family in Brazil for the remaining 6 months. After coming back home, Kiara brought up the fact that she was ready to be out on her own, and her parents thought it was a good idea as well. She lived out in California for a year where she finished up her degree online and met a boy, who she ultimately fell in love with, moved in with, and ended up having a child with. They ended up separating after he relapsed after promising to be a better man for both her and their baby. It was then that Kiara decided to move back to the place where she grew up, her parents happy to help with their granddaughter.

Kiara moved back to New York about six months ago with her daughter, Luna, who is now a year old. She found a job as a journalist and luckily, while she is away at work, her parents watch her daughter. She lives on the Upper East Side, providing the best life for Luna and herself, hoping to one day find someone that will accept her and her daughter. Sheâs quite committed to her job and her daughter and that comes before anything else and sheâll let people know it too. Even though sheâs not as entitled as she once was, she still has that ârich girlâ attitude.Â

âOh, was she waiting for you to come pick her up?â Ayla asked with a furrow of her brow as she looked over the woman. After all, she knew what receiving that phone call felt like. However, she was certain that her mother had never felt the same as the woman who sat in front of her now. âHow old is she?â
âShe was. I feel so bad.â Ivy sighed, pulling her hair back into a ponytail. She chewed on her bottom lip before looking back at Ayla a small smile on her face. âSheâs twelve. Sheâll be thirteen in July.â
