SURPRISE PREVIEW!

alright, so this preview was not planned but something we wanted to give you guys because #1 you’re all incredible and we are so excited to introduce you to kickback and form so many amazing plots and #2 so you can prepare graphics and such!

so welcome to connect.com/constance! in our kickbackrp’s universe, there is this really cool social media called connect. the people that created connect wanted to combine multiple social media platforms where people in specific areas can interact and get to know each other. connect combines facebook, twitter, instagram, and the good ol’ myspace days of top friends. that’s right, we’re combining things from the past and present! 

not only that, but there’s a section of connect.com that is called connect.com/match! its connect’s version of tinder, but basically runs the same way just with a little more quirkiness in the swipes. 

let us know what you think of connect and if you’re excited to use it! also, reserves are officially closed — get ready for TOMORROW ya’ll!

this is our pre-opening plotting rush!

so what does that entail, you might ask? well, let me tell you! for the next five hours (from now until 5pm pst / 8pm est / 2am gmt) the plotting rush will be going on. in this time, we are encouraging all of our incredible members to plot with as many characters and members as possible. all we ask is that you at least start a plotting conversation (aka have some ideas thrown out there), but it doesn’t need to be fully developed.

feel free to go through our tag, discord interest checks, and requests and see where your characters might interact with somebody else’s. reach out to that person, and get to plotting! or, go in blind. is there somebody you’ve had a few conversations on discord with that you’d love to plot with? now is the time to jump!

part of doing this is to create a community on kickback that is very intertwined and involved. we want to find a way to be as inclusive as possible and thought this might help kickstart that. that way when we open you’ll have so many threading opportunities!

HOWEVER...we are human and we have a competitive streak. so for every new person, you plot with you’ll receive 3 points, and every new character you plot with you’ll receive 1 point. so for instance, you can have a friend you’re already plotting with and plot with all five of their characters and get five points. but you can also reach out to somebody new, get 3 points for just that, and then a point for every character of theirs you plot with. does that make sense?

from there, DM an admin and let them know the characters and players you’ve plotted with (this is on a trust basis, we don’t need to see receipts but be honest)! we’ll tally up your points and keep track. at the end of the plotting rush, every person that participated will have a specific color on discord, and the top five plotters will each get to choose their own color! we’ll also post an announcement on the site to shout all of you out for being awesome members!

it is a super fun way to prepare for opening and we hope you participate!
