Kida laughed softly and picked the pig up, holding her close gently. "She's so cute." Kida cooed

I found her outside the border! I just couldn’t leave her on her own!

“You were right to bring her in.” Kida agreed, she was fond of all wildlife. The demi-god stroked the pigs wet coat with a smile. “Have you got a name for her?”

Kida smiled as the sea breeze blew her hair out of her face. There was  nothing for her to do right now so she escaped to the beach. She couldn’t help but laugh at how typical it was for the daughter of the sea god to spend all of her spare time by the water.

David was trying to practice making lightening, but every time he thought he was getting somewhere the spark would die out. He sighed sadly to himself, but when he noticed a cheerful face he couldn’t much help cheering up himself, a bit. “’Ello, there. Are you lost, or just enjoyin the water?”

Kida turned her head towards the voice with a smile. "Just enjoying the water." She confirmed. Another wave washed over her feet, the temperature didn't bother all that much but she stepped away anyway to introduce herself. "I'm Kida, daughter of Poseidon."

“That- That’s a pig?” Kida looked at the boy washing the small thing with a smile. “It’s adorable, but why-?”

“Kida.” He added his southern twang to give the name a try. “I like it. I’m Travis- except if you see an angry mob looking for a Travis, then I’m Connor. I’m the co-head counselor of cabin eleven. Who’s kid are you?”

Kida laughed and nodded. She liked his humor. “Pleasure to meet you Travis. Daddy dearest is Poseidon. Cabin eleven....That’s Hermes, right?” She hadn’t been there for all that long, so the brunette was still trying to work out which cabin belonged to which God.

“I’m Kidagakash. You can call me Kida if you want.” She smiled and shook his hand. “And yes, i’m new. Who are you?”

Kat’s heart pounded for a moment, she hated the rule that they weren’t allowed to tell the demi-gods, but she had promised. “No, last I heard he was off on some quest of his own.” Which was technically true; he was saving the world.

“Right, I thought as much.” Kida had figured that people we’re just exaggerating. Apollo was a big boy, eve if he was in danger he could handle himself.

He plopped down from the sky like an eagle perched on a tree branch. “What-cha-doin’ miss?”

Kat jumped slightly and turned to face the boy. “Gods, are you trying to give me a heart attack?” She laughed. “I’m just relaxing, watching the waves and such.”

“yeah, pretty much.” Kat laughed. “But it’s never dull with you guys. And I’ve actually started liking it here.”

“That’s good.” She smiled. “Hey! I’ve heard rumors that Apollo’s gone missing. That’s not true is it?”

Kat hugged her sister again. “I completely understand, Dad isn’t always the best.” She wrinkled her nose a bit adn grinned. “Well I’m here to watch over you all. Mother asked me to watch over Scarlett, Annabeth, and Drew. So I took it to mean my Poseidon siblings too.”

“Ohhh, you got stuck on babysitting duty.” Kida laughed and scrunched her nose slightly. “Got it.”

Kat hugged her back, a smile on her face. “Still mad at dad huh?” Kat understood that, there was a lot she had to be mad at their father about, but she had adored the time she got to spend with Kida when she visited. “I forget how fast you grow up, are you here to stay this time?”

“Yeah.” Kida groaned. She was pissed to be honest, it wasn’t right to keep something as big as her family from her. The brunette shrugged. “I’m staying. It’s not like there’s anywhere else for me to go. What about you! What are you doing in a place for demi-gods?”

Kat was standing by the water, her mind elsewhere when she noticed one of her sisters. It just happened to be one she hadn’t seen in a long time. “Kida! When did you get here?!”

Kida turned to face the voice and grinned when she saw her sister. “Kat!” She chirped, walking over and pulling her into a hug. The last time they had seen each other was when Kida was still living with her father. “I got here a few days ago. Triton brought me.”

My name is KIDAGAKASH ISLE and I am SEVENTEEN years old.  I am a daughter of POSEIDON and reside in CABIN THREE.  Some say I look like KAT GRAHAM but I say she looks like me.

Ka'ya Isle was an extraordinary woman. After the horrific death of her parents at the age of 6 she was sent to an orphanage where she remained till she was eighteen. Though, no matter her “living situation” she was above all else, determined. She refused to let her past stop her from having the life she always dreamed about. After leaving, she knew the most logical sense was for her to get a degree. Ka'ya attended Long Island University, where she studied under some of the greatest marine biologist in the field. One of them being, the king of the sea who she knew as Peter. The two later struck up an affair, which led to Ka'ya’s pregnancy. Having never known of Poseidon’s divine power, she worried he would lose his job over the news of their soon-to-be child. So she picked up her things and moved away from the island. It broke her heart to leave, but she thought it was for the best. Ka'ya later died, giving birth to her daughter.

For the first few years of her life, she remained unnamed as an orphan, located in Atlanta, Georgia. At least until she was found by her father at the age of 3. Poseidon had been looking for Ka'ya when he learned of her death, and the birth of his daughter. He took her from the orphanage and brought her with him to the sea, to both care for her, as well as hide the fact he had broken his pact with his brothers. Poseidon turned her into a mermaid, so she could live within the palace walls and offered her to his wife Amphitrite, hoping she would help him keep his mistake under wraps. Which she did out of love for her husband. She claimed the child was her’s and named her Kidagakash. Kida, as she was called, grew up, thinking Amphitrite was her biological mother. It wasn’t until she was fifteen that Poseidon finally told her the truth. Kida felt betrayed, wanted little to do with the god, so she promptly packed her things and asked her brother Triton to help her find a home else where. Concerned for her safety if he did not, Triton agreed and brought her to camp halfblood. There she resides in cabin three, to her great displeasure.

 ➢ C O N N E C T I O N S

➥ Mark Orin -Frienemy- Ever since she arrived, the boy has not left her alone. He’s always going out of his way to annoy her, and although she despises most things about him, she can’t help being slightly fond of him.

➥ Lottie Samuel -Close Friend-To put it plainly, the two girls go together like peanut butter and jelly. You can’t have Kida without Lottie, and that’s just the way they like it. Lottie is much more outgoing, where as Kida is much more reserved. Very different, but opposites do attract. 

➥ Tyson -Friend/Brother- They met while Tyson was working in the sea, though at the time they didn’t know they were siblings. Seeing as he was one of the few sea dwellers around her age, Kida always made it a point to spend time with the cyclops.
