small notice

(i'm posting this in all of my blogs) i'm closing ko-fi commissions for a while due to stress related health issues and only taking in commissions from friends and relatives. I'm still finishing the works i started, as I had an emergency at home that took all of the money i had been saving for a while and i can't do any refunds, but i'm not taking anything for a while anymore.

being achillean and POC myself i really wish that more people would remember that the process of taking the culture or subculture of a particular group of people, whether that's people of color or queer people of any kind and basically turning it into a palatable quirky thing for the majorities is a type of erasure and it's more than justifiable to be bothered or angry or sad when you feel like your culture is being stolen by people who would spit on you. i know that a lot of people don't get bothered and if you don't feel bothered, that's fine, i'm not gonna tell you that you HAVE to be upset, but i just wanna reassure that if you ARE upset, that's valid too
