I feel so grateful that Brian didn’t just delete the comments or make a copy-pasted statement. He really thought about what happened, took the time to learn why his actions were upsetting, wrote one of the longest pieces I’ve ever seen him post on social media, apologized profusely and not in a way that was like “I hope you can still be my fan” or whatever, but genuinely “I hope I didn’t hurt you as a person”. He’s a real one.
