The story behind these patterns is a classic case of ‘if you don’t try, you will never know’. On my YouTube channel tonight is the pattern tutorial for women’s trouser. I was so terrified to do this pattern because I had never done trouser patterns from scratch before. “What if I don’t get it right?” What if people criticise me?” All these questions kept racing through my head but last week I told myself that I would at least try and see how it goes. Few hours later, I made the patterns and even tested it by sewing one trouser leg to see if it fits at all. It’s not the most precise pattern but it works and I did it, I didn’t allow my fear to stop me. Shall we have a moment for this week’s sewing project ✨ I finally made the teddy coat using the patterns from my last two videos. I decided to mix two main fabrics for this project; this soft yellow felt for the main body of the jacket with the cutest faux fur material for the sleeves. Working towards having the sewing tutorial video on the channel this week😉 #diyfashion
