today is the 10th, which is normally when I would do a #10on10 (ten photos throughout the day)! however I have a midterm tomorrow and it’s snowing like mad outside so this picture pretty much represents my day from noon onward. I think I’ll do a day in photos next week when I’m away for spring break, though! :) for now, back to learning about hearing disorders.
Kimmie’s Nail Tips
The CEO/FOUNDER of DiamHealth loves nails. She will reveal her natural nail journey & routine to keep them healthy.

Nail Tips:
- Let your nail bed breathe. Take a break from going to the nail salon.
- Purchase a nail kit. Research and figure out how you can do your own nails.
- Use coconut oil has a nail moisturizer. Weak nails lack protein. Coconut oil has protein properties that will help strengthen the nails.
- Don’t bite nails. Get rid of the habit.
- If a nail is chipped or broken, use a nail file or clipper. Don’t use your teeth.
- Use a acetone-free, non-drying, chemical free nail polish remover. Kimmie uses Mineral Fusion nail polish remover.
- Use natural, organic nail polish. Kimmie uses Mineral Fusion nail polish.
- Moisturize the nails, daily.
- Make a DIY nail soak and soak nails for 10 minutes. You can do this weekly.

What’s In Your Salad?
Salad is a healthy meal. Although, add particular things to your salad cancels the purpose of it being healthy.
Things to NOT add on salad:
- Creamy dressing. The creamy dressing comes from fat, sodium, and lack of nutrients.
- Nuts that are glazed. We should know that the glaze is from sugary syrup. This would totally kill the purpose on having a “healthy meal”.
- Fried meat. Consuming fried foods isn’t good for you. So, adding fried chicken to your salad, is not a good idea.
- Dried cranberries. They are made with loads of sugar.
There’s always a solution to a problem.
Alternatives:
- Use vinaigrette (just a little bit), extra-virgin olive oil, or make the dressing at home. Less sodium = More better.
- Add dry, unsalted, roasted nuts. Or use organic almonds.
- Add grilled chicken, egg whites, or a veggie burger.
- Add organic blueberries or strawberries.
Have a nutritious meal. Good Health = Good Life
