A few for Ben Kindel x Crosby reader if that's ok?
Maybe something where she goes to a really important game for the penguins and she wears Bens jersey, and her dad and geno notice, and are kind of sad, but end up good-naturedly teasing Ben about taking her away from them? 🫶

Going to games against the Flyers had never gotten easier, even though you’d been going for years.
And yet this year was the scariest.
Because this time Ben Kindel, your boyfriend, would have to try and survive their violent tendencies.
You wanted to try and give him a little bit of motivation, so you had decided to finally switch out your father’s jersey, and wear one with Ben’s name and number instead.
Once you got to the arena you made your way down to your seat, which was right in front of the glass, and near the Penguins bench.
It wasn’t long after that the players made their way out of the tunnel for warmups.
Ben had spotted you immediately, you’re always the first person he looks for when he lands on the ice, and he skated over.
He quickly noticed that you weren't wearing the old ragged jersey of your dad’s that you normally wore and he raised an eyebrow.
Before he could even ask where it was, you turned around and pointed at his number on the back.
His eyes widened as he realized what you were wearing. He smiled at the same time you did when you turned around.
“Do you like it?” You asked, waiting to see what he’d truly thought about it.
He nodded. “I love it.” He grinned.
You gave him a genuine smile before he skated away, blowing you a kiss before he turned around to go mess around with Skinner for a bit,
You had been sitting there for only a bit after he skated away when two figures had appeared in his place.
“Hey, Bug.” Your dad smiled at you with a wave.
Geno would have done the same if he wasn’t so confused about your jersey.
“What are you wearing?” He asked with a raised eyebrow.
That was when your father noticed it wasn’t his jersey that you were wearing.
“What happened to my jersey? You always wear it.” He said while his brows furrowed together.
“Oh, it’s Ben’s jersey.” You shrugged. “I figured he needed a bit of motivation to do well since I always give it to you guys.”
The two glanced at each other before looking back at you.
“You really are grown up, aren’t you?” Your dad frowns as he finally realized that you were wearing your boyfriend’s jersey.
“Baby penguin is too grown.” Geno pouted.
“Sorry.” You shrugged, faking a sorry expression because you knew they were joking with you.
You watched as they skated away before sitting back down and going on your phone.

“Kindy!”
Ben’s head shot up from the ice and tilted to the side when he heard his name, recognizing Geno’s voice and seeing him and Sid skate toward him.
“You really have taken my girl away from us, haven’t you?” Sid joked, sliding the puck away from Ben.
“What do you mean, sir?” Ben stuttered slightly, scared that he’d done something wrong.
“She wearing your jersey right now.” Geno said. “She always wears Sid’s.”
“You’ve changed her.” Sid chuckled, Geno laughing with him.
“Oh, I’m sorry, sir. I honestly didn’t know that she was going to wear that today, it was a surprise.”
There was a moment of silence between the three of them for a moment, Sid and Geno looking between each other before laughing.
“Kindy, we’re just messing with you, we think it’s sweet, and we’re just not used to it yet.” Sid explained, watching the colour return to Ben’s face.
Ben sighed, relieved that Sid and Geno weren’t actually upset with him.
“I really like that she wanted to wear my jersey, I think it’s nice of her to do.” Ben smiled, his cheeks flushing slightly.
He really did like that you wore it, he never thought that you ever would.
“Just don’t take away from us.” Geno said, glancing to where you were sitting before looking back at Ben.
“I promise I won’t.” He chuckled, peeking between the other two to see you.

author’s note: thank you so so SO much for this request <3 it was so much fun to write (if you couldn't tell because it only took me 2 days LOL)
Ben had never seen you like this before.
He came over to your house, just like you had told him to, so that he could celebrate your birthday with you and your friends, just like he had helped you plan.
Sidney welcomed him into the house with a sort of frown. He explained that you were up in your room, and that you’d been there all day.
He knew something was up so he immediately ran upstairs to your room.
When he entered, you were curled up in your favourite blanket on your bed, faint hiccup noises echoing throughout the room.
He shut the door quietly behind him before settling himself next to you, his hand gently resting on top of your hip.
“Ben?” You huffed, turning your head to look at him.
Your eyes were puffy and full of tears, your cheeks red, your hair was a mess, and you were wearing one of his hoodies that you’d stolen a while ago.
“I’m here, baby.” He whispered as your arms tangled with his, your face finding the crook of his neck, letting out a sob.
His thumb rubbed soft circles on your back as you cried into his shoulder, your breath heaving.
You pulled away for a moment to look up at him, his eyebrows furrowed to show his worry and his lips frowning slightly.
“You don’t have to tell me immediately, but what’s wrong?” He asked, pulling you close enough so that you were practically laying on him, but just enough so that he could still see your face.
You stayed quiet, your lips quivering as you looked up at him. “They didn’t show up.”
“What?”
“My friends.” You said, tears beginning to fall again. “None of them showed up, they started texting me, telling me shitty excuses so that they didn’t have to come and see me. I spent time decorating, and finding the right food, and having my dad help me for absolutely nothing!”
All he could do was listen as your voice trembled while you explained what had happened, his arms becoming a safe haven that you never knew you needed so badly.
“I know it’s difficult, I know, but it’s going to be okay, I’m here.” He hummed as your face found his shoulder again, his cheek resting on the top of your head.
He waited until you were a bit calmer to pull away, his hands finding their way up to cup your cheeks. “How about you and I go out for a little bit? We can get some ice cream and do a little bit of shopping, my treat.”
The softest smile lit up on your face as you nodded, sitting up a bit so you could fully face him.
“Okay, I’m going to go downstairs and wait for you because I know you want to get ready.” He pulled you in, pressing his lips against your temple for just a moment. “I’ll see you in a bit.
Ben left your room and went straight to the living room where he knew Sidney was going to be because he had a new plan that he knew your father would agree to.
“Is she okay?” Sidney asked, standing up from his chair and walking over to meet Ben.
“I’m going to take her out for a little bit, I think it’ll make her feel a little better, but I need your help with something else.”
Ben explained what he needed, and just like he knew, Sidney agreed immediately, starting to plan some things out in his head.
At that same moment you walked down the steps with your things, ready to get out the door.
Sidney smiled at you both and waved goodbye as you stepped out the front door and into Ben’s car.
He took you to your favourite ice cream spot, of course taking a picture of you when you got some on your nose, and then treated you to some of your favourite stores.
You both were gone for an hour or two which was just enough for Sid to get everything arranged back at the house.
You sighed as Ben pulled back into the driveway of your house, still unsuspecting of what Ben and your father had planned.
You didn’t exactly want to go back inside your house, you were upset, and still felt guilty about making your dad spend money on your party for nothing, but nonetheless you followed Ben as he brought you onto your front porch, his hand never leaving yours for a second.
You opened the front door and were immediately pulled into an emotional shock.
Your dad and all of his teammates were gathered in the foyer, confetti poppers in some people’s hands and balloons in others.
“Surprise!” They all yelled as you smacked a hand across your mouth.
“Did you do this for me?” You asked, turning to Ben, to which he nodded before you grabbed him and pulled him into a hug. “I love you so much.”
“I love you too.” He smiled, kissing the top of your head before pulling you fully inside the house.
He watched with a smile as you mingled with the familiar faces of the team, not even showing a bit of the sadness that you were expressing to him before.
“Uncle Geno!” You squealed when you found him in the kitchen, your face lighting up as soon as you saw him.
“Mini Crosby, you finally talk to me today.” He grinned when you came over to him.
“Sorry, Ben’s been keeping me out all day.” You chuckled, glancing over at your boyfriend.
Mid-conversation, you’d felt a hand on your shoulder, turning to see Kris Letang standing next to you.
“Tanger, hey!” You smiled, hugging him.
You talked to him for a bit, asking about family and other things before looking around.
“Is Alex here? He’s normally following you.”
Kris chuckled, pointing over to the living room. “He’s playing games with Rutger right now, it’s where they’ve been almost the whole time since you got here.”
“They’re playing games without me?” Your mouth dropped, looking at Ben. “We have to change that!”
You dragged Ben into the living room and basically threw him onto the couch, right in the middle of Šilovs and Skinner.
Before you knew it, the entire team had filled the living room, some even sitting on the floor once the couch and chairs were filled.
But you weren’t paying the slightest bit of attention because you were trying to come up for the most diabolical answer for a game of Quiplash that you could have ever thought of.
The only people playing were you, Rutger of course, Ben, Erik, and Rickard, but it was the most effort you had ever put into any Jackbox game.
“Yes, yes, I win!” You called out as you shot up from your seat on the floor when you showed up first in the podium. “Suckers!”
They all laughed, but still congratulated you anyways as you jokingly bowed in front of the room before sitting back down on the ground.
The night slowly slipped away after that, everyone saying their goodbyes and you thanking them for being there until it was finally just you, Ben, and your father left in the room.
You curled up in the corner of the couch, Ben right next to you so you could rest your head on his shoulder, his arm wrapped around your shoulders.
Your dad was sitting in his chair, his legs crossed while he was finding something to watch on the tv.
“Thank you guys so much for doing this for me.” you said, looking down at your lap as you played with a string from your shirt.
Sidney smiled softly. “You should really be thanking Ben. He came up with the entire plan.”
You looked up at Ben, your chin resting on his shoulder. “Well then, thank you very much, Ben.”
“Anything to make sure you’re happy.” He smiled, pulling you closer and kissing your temple.
Carter Hart, Patrick Kane, Artemi Panarin, Nick Cousins, Drew Doughty, and Dillion Dube all still play hockey at a professional level even though they’ve had ‘allegations’ against them. Rape/Sexual assault is the one crime that you can’t justify yet it is the easiest to get away with because no body believes the victims who had the courage and bravery to come forward. The nhl organization and a lot of fans are willing to just sweep the players actions under the rug as long as the player can make plays and win games.
