Carter Hart, Patrick Kane, Artemi Panarin, Nick Cousins, Drew Doughty, and Dillion Dube all still play hockey at a professional level even though they’ve had ‘allegations’ against them. Rape/Sexual assault is the one crime that you can’t justify yet it is the easiest to get away with because no body believes the victims who had the courage and bravery to come forward. The nhl organization and a lot of fans are willing to just sweep the players actions under the rug as long as the player can make plays and win games.

Heated rivalry fans are to the hockey world what the Mha fandom was to the anime world full stop.

It’s not all heated rivalry fans some are chill but the ones who make every hockey post about heated rivalry, ship actual players who have social media, and water down the real world struggles and accomplishments of for example Nick Suzuki by comparing him to Shane Hollander need to stop. Everyone outside the fandom believes every fan acts like that because that’s all they see.

As sad as the sharks trading Eklund is Ottawa is smart af. They traded Tkachuk for basically nothing to the panthers which meant turning down what was rumoured to be a stacked offer from the wild. Then they used the 9th overall pick to get Eklund and two other players. They got rid of the guy who did nothing but take up space of their roster and then gained someone who could do some great things for their team.
