Lately...I've been losing sleep
I do enjoy the snow. Itās white, ever present beauty, like a large blanket.
I do not believe that is what you meant, your majesty.
I guess I've always seen snow as more of a burden as a ruler.

Lately...I've been losing sleep
I do enjoy the snow. Itās white, ever present beauty, like a large blanket.
I do not believe that is what you meant, your majesty.
I guess I've always seen snow as more of a burden as a ruler.
Not by anything I canāt handle.
Well, you certainly are not very delicate. If I didn't know any better, I would say you were an Aldersly. But I do.
I know you do.
I do what?
Lately...I've been losing sleep
Your Majesty!
No, it does not
A troubled mind in the dead of winter promises for some serious snow.
Words are all Iāve got most of the time. I might as well make good use of them.
That sounds vaguely as if you were troubled.
Lately...I've been losing sleep
That never bodes well, Miss Routledge.
At the risk of losing my head over disagreeing with the king, I think the past is the last thing that should be chased. The distance between you and it will only grow the longer you try to go after it.
Wise words, miss.
Well, at least you havenāt given up completely.
I enjoy chasing the past.
You look rather determined, your majesty. May I ask who that arrowās meant for?
I woke up one morning and realized I was no longer the young man I once was. I thought perhaps some practice would help. It's been a harder task than I recalled.
...
Of course not. They would be warm and hot.
If the gods were willing to accommodate you, I would ask them for it myself.
I think two seems like a more reasonable number.
And I suppose they would have to be hot and hotter.
Four seasons is a bit much, donāt you think?
How many would you prefer?
Iām less than thrilled to hear that.
Winter leads to spring, and spring brings the promise of newness.
I suppose itās just hard for me to find beauty in the cold.
You're in the wrong place then, milady. There are still months to be had of this.
I find it hard to believe that anything is beautiful in this winter.
It may sound unattractive at first, I agree. But the area is so clear and the hills low. With all the snow about, it looks quite majestic, cloaked in white.
This kingdom is lucky to have someone with such a good heart.
Would it be strange of me to ask you about some of your favorite places here? Iād like to explore my new home, and you seem like the most reputable source.
Oh, well I was raised in the Capital. It's always been home and I would be lying if I said that it was not the most beautiful city in Strongholm. But Trenlus is a site to see. As well as Hemmingway. Actually, Hemmingway is quite beautiful in the winter.
