It’s famously known that the skeletons in the queue line for Pirates are stuck in a stalemate, neither can win. Around the 90s the attraction was refurbished and the board was swept clean. This caused panic as the Imagineers realized they didn’t know how to recreate the game. Luckily for them, Marc Davis left a diagram of what the board should look like on the back of his original sketch of the scene.

I don’t know if maybe it’s not that deep, but nobody’s talked about Willa’s reaction to Wayne’s death. Yes, Finn was the closest to him of the seven and he was absolutely torn apart over it, but Willa was the one with the knife to her neck. The knife that killed Wayne Kresky was going to kill her first. Imagine her standing there for that first second when all of a sudden she wasn’t in any danger anymore…but a Disney legend, her mentor, her friend, was dead. And she has to put on a brave face because there’s still so much going on but she just feels so guilty being happy that she’s alive when he was dead and she just can’t help but blame herself. The same way Finn thinks that he’s killed Dillard, she thinks she’s killed Wayne. And all the while she lets Finn vent to her about Dillard and about Wayne when he doesn’t want Amanda to see him like that, she’s just silently breaking on the inside but she doesn’t want to drag him into her problems, because he already has so much grief. I just feel like nobody talks about how much Willa must have missed Wayne and been so happy when he was finally back.
