It’s never really been about the numbers with this band. Something even more special to us is [to] create a new chapter and a new culture for our fans to really immerse themselves in and feel passionate about. That really was the main focus for this album. It was important for us to delve in and create something that could be played for decades. Is everyone on twitter and tumblr a child??? You know that right now it’s one person’s word against another’s right? You know you can remain neutral right? You know you can not call anyone a liar or a literal rapist until the real truth comes out right????

All I have to say is:

Trial by social media is completely unfair. I will not be a part of it. Everyone has the right to process this how they want to. People need to stop demanding everyone to just cancel and unfollow and shit and I'm sorry, I'm too old to fall into this hysteria. I will wait until I know more before dismissing a band I've put so much into. Take that as you will. But if you come attack me about it you will be blocked.
