( Miss Fran ) :
Oh. Her feet shuffled a half-step backwards, and her gaze averted in turn, conveying a sudden shyness. She didn’t know how to dance… But maybe it would be different in a dream?
“… Fran.”
— ⊰ | ♔ | ⊱ — “If you do not know how to dance, then I would be more than happy to help. This is a dream, so think of it as a perfect way to learn. But if you do not wish to do so, then that is fine.” He smiled at her. “And I am Leo. It is a pleasure to meet you Miss Fran.”
( Lady ) :
She pauses to consider this. There’s nothing suggestive about a nice ballroom dance… In fact, it seems like a lovely time. Upon reaching this conclusion, she nods her approval.
“Good.”
— ⊰ | ♔ | ⊱ — “Excellent!” Leo took one of his hands out and placed another against his chest. “How would you like to be the first one... Miss...?” He was asking for her name of course.
This had been her very first stop on her list, and fortunately for her this had been her second time here, so directions weren’t an issue. Since this apartment complex in particular was located conveniently near the market, she had come here directly from her shopping. Over her shoulders rested the straps of her knapsack, and tucked neatly inside was a few boxes filled with chocolate; a fairly expensive brand, though with it being Valentine’s Day, they had been bought on a small discount. “… How do I go about this…” It’s a whisper, conveying her current disposition. In spite of what had happened—how they had been enemies once—Hakuno did consider him a great friend, and if she considers recent events, she’d admit that they’ve gotten a bit closer. Seconds turn to minutes, and upon taking one deep breath, she finally begins to knock on the door before her.
“Ah, Leo! Just the person I was looking for…!” She then quickly slips the bag off her shoulders, and begins to rummage through its contents. “… I was happy. When I first saw you here. That feeling alone told me that I value our friendship.” Right then, she manages to pull out the box of chocolates she was particularly looking for. “In many ways, you saved me. So… thank you, Leo! And Happy Valentine’s Day!” For a moment, just as she reaches out to hand it to him, she wonders if he had ever took part of Valentine’s Day festivities; regardless though, she had hoped that this would make his day a bit brighter.
— ⊰ | ♔ | ⊱ — Leo was accustomed to receiving gifts from women during Valentine’s Day, but it was not because he was popular with them. A lot of them were simply interested in marrying the next heir of the Harwey family, but he wasn’t bothered by their intentions. Just like any good prince, he was simply thankful for their presents and the gesture alone was to make him smile politely. It wasn’t as if he was incapable of experiencing the happiness that Valentine’s day brought… It was just different since they were usually just sent to his room.
Today was different through. He couldn’t deny the emotion he felt when the girl in front of him suddenly handed him a box of chocolates. A smile blossomed on his face as he took it from her and placed his hand on top of hers. There was nothing romantic or intrusive about his action. Leo was only thanking her from the bottom of his heart. “Thank you Miss Hakuno. You were the first person to help me experience what real friendship was… and I am truly thankful for that.”
She said that he saved her, but she was the one who saved him. In more ways than one. “Happy Valentine’s Day to you too Miss Hakuno. You have been giving me so many gifts, so I shall one day return the favor.”
( Brother ):
“I believe he indulges your curiosities far too much. But, more importantly, Leo…what kind of person do you think I am? I will not speak to you about this, or rather I refuse, until you’re of a more suitable age for such a thing, so please don’t involve me.”
— ⊰ | ♔ | ⊱ — “There is nothing wrong with that! I’m sure you would prefer me to ask him over a random stranger... Hm... Then I suppose I will have to ask Gawain after all until you deem I am old enough to have this discussion with you.”
( Lady ):
“Gross.”
— ⊰ | ♔ | ⊱ — “I suppose... That is rather distasteful... Hmm... What about this, a ballroom full of ladies that would like a dance with me?”
reikokuna replied to your post: — ⊰ | ♔ | ⊱ — “I suppose this...
NO!!! NO!!! NO!!!! N
— ⊰ | ♔ | ⊱ — “Would you like to join me? It could be an ideal way for siblings to bond together!”
— ⊰ | ♔ | ⊱ — “I suppose this means that I will be able to dream about anything... Simulating a world where the Harweys have won the Grail War would be ideal, but trying to imagine an island full of beautiful ladies would be something a boy my age would most likely do, right?”
can you please tell gawain to be nice to me
— ⊰ | ♔ | ⊱ — “Is Gawain being rude to you? Fret not, I will be sure to reprimand him and make sure he treats you like a proper lady Miss Hakuno.”
( Brother ) :
“I….see. It seems I’ll have to have a word with Sir Gawain.” Closes his eyes. God give him strength. “That is not– something you need to know. You’re too young for that sort of thing, Leo. Remember I’m the one in charge of your education.”
— ⊰ | ♔ | ⊱ — “Please try to go easy on him. It is a knight’s job to answer his lord’s questions after all... But brother! I’m at that age where I am curious about all of these things! So please to tell me... does it feel like holding a marshmallow?”
— ⊰ | ♔ | ⊱ — “Of course a woman’s chest does not define them. Big or small, it does not matter! To truly appreciate a lady, you have to love her for her personality, appearance and heart!”
( Brother ) :
“L-Leo! Who taught you that?!”
— ⊰ | ♔ | ⊱ — “Oh perfect timing brother! Gawain did actually, but I was just wondering if you have ever had the chance to gently hold a woman’s bosom?”
— ⊰ | ♔ | ⊱ — “I have heard that a woman’s breasts and body in general should be respected and worshipped.”
( Brother ) :
“—That’s enough.” The grip on the other’s shoulder is as tight as can be, as evidenced by the uncomfortable expression that slides over his face rather than the faux cheerful one from moments before. Despite the difference in height, the difference in power was made clear, black eyes boring into the taller man’s back as cold as his words. “He said he wasn’t interested. Now I suggest you take your leave.”
The attempt to glare back ends horribly, and finally the scammer slinks off, tail between his legs as his mark merely continues to smile. Julius only watches him leave for a moment before hastily turning his attention to the blond, approaching one more step as if to assess the other properly.
“Leo, are you unharmed?
Nothing’s happened in my absence, I hope….”
Something akin to relief settles in his chest upon seeing that face again, alive and well, but his face remains stern until he gets an answer.
@kinglysun
— ⊰ | ♔ | ⊱ — The man's attempt to scam him was... amusing to say the least. A normal person might have ended up getting pulled in by his sugar laced words, but unfortunately for him, Leo was not a fool. “Your proposal sounds promising, but I will have to sadly pass.” The man didn’t take his rejection well and was starting to get aggressive and downright malicious. It didn’t strike fear in his heart though, evident by the way he was still smiling at him.
The unexpected interruption caused him to tilt his head to the right to take a look at his ‘savior’ –– Oh? It was his brother. He greeted the assassin after he was finished intimidating and inevitably driving the stranger off. “Hello brother. Did you just recently arrive here?” Leo smiled when he expressed his concern for his wellbeing. “Do not worry. You did your job at protecting me as splendidly as usual.”
He shook his head. “Gawain is here and while he is no longer my servant, he is still dutifully acting like my knight. A lot of interesting things have happened though. I got to be a temporary magical boy just the other month. It was a fascinating experience.”
( Sir Gawain ) :
“…Leo.” What had started as a harmless visit to check up on him had become something more…awkward the moment the young boy had shown that he had the ability to transform. Said transformation involved him wearing a very frilly dress with accessories to match. Gawain doesn’t know what to think or what may have caused it in the first place as he doesn’t remember Leo having these sorts of powers. It’s something to do with the current happenings in this city for sure and he’s certain that the little monsters that had taken to terrorizing the city for the past week absolutely play a hand in this sudden change. “I know that you are not in control of what it is that you wear, but…”
“Why is it that the dress seems to suit you more than something that…would be more appropriate.” That’s the gentlest way he can put it. Because Leo really does wear the dress well, but it’s hard to look at him except out of the corner of his eye.
@kinglysun
— ⊰ | ♔ | ⊱ — While most boys would undoubtedly be embarrassed to be caught wearing a dress against their will, Leo was not flustered by his feminine appearance at all. A smile, instead of a frown, appeared on his face when he heard his name being uttered by a familiar voice. Turning around in a dramatic fashion fit for a magical boy, he stood face to face with Gawain and placed a hand on his hip. “Hello Gawain. It is a pleasure to see you again. Though, it does not look like you have the power to transform into a dress.” His comment and his refusal to make eye contact with him prompted him to let out a small laughter. Leo was highly amused.
“Some other people have said the same thing to me. Perhaps this image fits with my boyish charm.” There wasn’t a shred of vanity in his tone when he brought up his charm. He was simply telling the truth. “Since this fits me, do you think I should start wearing dresses like this from now on? I could be the first king to rule while wearing feminine outfits.” Leo was kidding, but he couldn’t help himself. He wanted to see how the knight would respond to his statement.
( Kind Sir ) :
Exasperating as their sudden transformation was, there was nothing overtly embarrassing about it. So Shirou felt, at least. The skirt was an interesting change - easier to move and do battle in then first thought, though the frills were hardly necessary, more nuisance than welcomed addition. Many complained, but many more rushed headlong into the fray, smiles painted wide and clear across their face. It was fun, Shirou supposed, though his idea of it hardly involved magical battles and beams shaped like hearts, nor the unfortunate catchphrases. To each their own, in the end.
Displays of heroism and magic were a common sight since then. Beams of multi-coloured light danced across the sky, trailing black clouds of despair and heartbreak. Shirou craned his neck to watch, then lowered his gaze to another display - a dramatic move against a swam of black imps. The scene itself needed no recognition, but he felt the need to applaud anyway. It was only polite, after all. Besides, it was a well done move, though a little too forward for his tastes.
“That was handled rather well.” Shirou’s smile was a small thing in comparison, though equally friendly. He folded his hands before him. “From what I know of the genre, I can definitely say that was a perfect performance. I’m sure others would agree, were they not tied up in their own battles. My admiration may not be much, but you have it, at the very least.”
— ⊰ | ♔ | ⊱ — Being metaphorically patted on his head for his attempt to act like the perfect magical boy caused his face to beam with satisfaction and joy. “I did a quick but extensive research on magical boys before this, so I am pleased to hear that my efforts have paid off.” Leo was obviously enjoying this a little too much, but who could blame him? This was a once in a lifetime opportunity and a good King must be able to squeeze every chance dry. “Empty praises from a crowd is nothing compared to a genuine praise from one individual, so I appreciate your kind words.”
Placing a hand on his chest, he offered him a warm smile before introducing himself to the stranger. “It would be unbecoming of a Harwey to not know the name of the person they are speaking to. I am Leonardo B. Harwey, but you may call me Leo.” Fortunately for them, the area wasn’t as infested as before thanks to the efforts of many magical individuals. Which meant that he had the pleasure of having a small conversation with the other for a few minutes at least.
( Miss Hakuno ) :
WITH what little money she had left, she was unable to purchase anything extravagant yet meaningful for him—she considered it lucky that she was able to get anything at all. On her hand lay two tickets to the amusement park in Sector 5, and while it was nothing tangible to keep for years to come, it was a place to make memories, should you spend your time there well ofc course. That, and the fact that it’d be a good experience for them both considering all they’ve been through prior to coming here. Now she walks rather slowly ( and aimlessly ) down a fairly busy sidewalk, peeking at the brightly lit screen of her phone and scrolling through the rather large directory available for his name—in hopes that she could reach him and refrain from arriving unannounced. “… I don’t think he has a phone just yet…” Her voice comes out a whisper, and is drowned out by her loud surroundings. “Alright. I have no choice but to go over there… shouldn’t be too far from here…”
Brown eyes remain locked on her phone whilst searching through its Navigational Map app in order to find the nearest route to this Sector’s apartment complex. “Sector 5… apartment Q… is what he said I think… let’s see…” Upon locking in on a suitable route, she promptly places her phone in her jacket pocket, while simultaneously increasing her pace. It’s then that a product on a stall’s display catches her eye—labelled ‘Selfie Stick’. The vendor, having noticed her himself, explains how functions, though by then, she already clues in on that fact. Wasting no more time, she buys the item off of him, and quickly makes her way to her original destination. Short time passes before she finds her way to the complex and to the door of his supposed apartment. Naturally, her hand rises to the surface of the door to knock, however she hesitates momentarily, as thoughts of his roommates come to mind. Despite those thoughts, she begins to knock softly.

— ⊰ | ♔ | ⊱ — While he was definitely more accustomed to attending the extravagant parties the Harwey family always hosted during Christmas, he would be lying if he said that he missed them. It was fun to be able to interact with all kinds of people of course, but there was something exciting and pleasant about celebrating Christmas as a ‘commoner’ for the first time. Sitting in front of a television while sipping on some hot chocolate –– This was how the simple folk celebrated Christmas right? While he was pondering about what else he could do to be like one of his subjects, a knock appeared on his door. He blinked a few times. A visitor?
Opening the door, he was slightly surprised to see one of his comrades standing on the other side. It was a nice surprise though. A smile immediately appeared on his face. “Miss Hakuno. It is a pleasure to see you again.” Stepping aside, he stretched his arm out to invite her inside. “Please, come in. I would not want my guest to stand out in the cold.” Once she entered his apartment, he closed the door and took her to the living room. “Would you like some hot chocolate? I learned how to make it recently. I was fascinated by how such an easy to make drink could warm the hearts of many.”
