The young demon king awoke with a slight cough, the after effects from a recent illness that was slowly fading. Rubbing his emerald eyes he slowly got out of his large four post bed and made his way towards the window. Standing on his toes he peaked out and watched as the large dust storm was still swirling through Gehenna.

Bringing over a blanket from his bed, he climbed up onto the large window sill and curled up watching the storm, his large blonde tail wrapped around himself.

Sitting there for a bit he wondered what his papa was up to at the moment.

The storm that raged around the city was pretty much a mirror to it’s rulers current mood. Servants and demons kept a wide berth as he marches through the citadel, tail swinging like an angry serpent behind him.

Arriving at his eldest son’s chamber door, he knocks hard on the wood, then barges in. Gaze making a target of the boy sat on at the window

“Lucifer!” he barks “Samael tells me you put hemlock in his soup! Have you been stealing from my herb jars again?”

The young prince turned around abruptly at the sudden appearance of his father. A bit frightened, he listens to his father silently and then groans inwardly. Samael lied about him. Again! It was really starting to frustrate him because things should of been the other way around. He was the oldest and therefore he should be the one picking on his younger brothers.

“I did not! He lied father, like always! I would never steal from you!” He yelled holding his blanket close.

As I’m fond of Blue Exorcist manga (a big fan yeah), I often draw attention to every small detail I see, so…

Has anyone noticed the evolution of elixirs Kato showed during the time?

 In chapter 102 it was mentioned:

It was 36 years ago, that was elixir 51.

And now look at the present time narration \well, actually several months before current action\         

In chapter 56 Lucifer says:

Quite a good progress, don’t you think?

BUT

Some time ago Kato drew several arts and among them was tis one:

Can it be just kind of a coincidence? But by Kato?

I believe not. And that means the following: during the past 36 years the speed of the progress of making a perfect elixir was increasing greatly. (like approximately 2 new types of elixir a year). But recently there was a truly huge jump (from 117 to 139 - that means like 22 new elixir in one year???)

Not bad, Lucifer. Not bad.

P.S. (Or maybe I’m wrong and this sick bastard absorbs different kinds of elixirs like vitamin pills depending on his mood or I dunno)
