New story. Part 1
So my friend has moved back in with me. She’s on a med that makes her nauseous. There’s been quite a few of close calls where she’s retching, burping and drooling without puking. Today at work was hot and humid. She had a pretty good day so far. She was even enthusiastic about lunch. She ate and after a little bit she says she’s feeling dizzy and nauseous. We had previously been using a rating scale for her feeling sick like 1 being just an annoyance to 10 I’m vomiting soon. She said it was somewhere around 6-8 on the scale and she felt pretty nauseous. She layer down next to me through the rest of lunch. Another coworker started complaining about her stomach feeling upset. (We work with children so there’s always something spreading around. There is a suspected bug. The kid I work with puked the day before and the day before that we had 2 staff out sick.) She laid for a while before sitting up and complaining that it wasn’t helping much. I heard her gag next to be before she just said bathroom and rushed to the other side of the room. She only went in for a second but there was someone in there and it stunk. (Where we are we are outside and the bathrooms are outside as well). I meet her as she’s coming out and she standing trying to get her head to stop spinning before she audibly gagged and headed for the trashcan. I brought over a chair because she was dizzy. She’s gagging as I take the lid off the bin. Her gags were getting stronger and saliva was flooding her mouth. Gagging brought more mouthfuls. She stopped gagging and caught her breath. She’s trying to talk to me but she gags on the words and hangs her head back into the trashcan where she continued to dry heave. She’s really struggling to bring anything up. I suggest some water and she at first rejects cause she’s afraid that the water will wash the puke down that she feels in her throat. She thinks she so close to vomiting but it isn’t coming. I suggested using it was more volume to throw up which she agreed to. I brought her my water and my fan to help try to cool her off. She was dry heaving when I left and when I came back she says she just threw up. I’m so upset I missed it. She ate a meatball sub which I could smell. (Not a nice smell coming up). I hand her the water to drink which she takes some big gulps of until she’s gagging again. Despite the additional volume, she’s still not doing much more than drooling and dry heaving. She whines that the vomit is right there but she can’t get it up. She loosely suggested sticking her fingers down her throat to help it up which I agreed that it could help. She said she’s embarrassed that someone might see her and how it’s gross. I offered to stand in front of her so no one can see. I’m now on the other side of the trashcan and I get a front row seat of her sticking her fingers down her throat. Her whole body rolls when she gags and it’s a beautiful sight to see. The sounds she made was so hot I was literally throbbing. Other than more drool nothing came up. I told her to try burping it up. She looked at me and said “wanna see my party trick” then began burping small burps before gagging loudly. She thought it was working so she tried again. She swallowed some air and forced more burps which triggered a gagging fit.

Part 2
The bathroom was now empty so I suggested moving inside. She dizzily stood and I walked her into the bathroom. She knelt in front of the toilet and started burping again. It just kept making her gag. She joked “you’re about to see me be bulimic”. (In truth she does like throw up much less force herself but she felt so queasy). I stood behind her holding her hair as she stuck her fingers back down her throat. She made these burpy retches around her fingers. She gagged herself probably 3-4 times before a rush of chunks splashes into the toilet. It spattered so hard it splashed onto the rim of the toilet. She got tissues to wipe her nose and hand before dry heaving. I asked if she thinks she’s done which she said not at all. She stuck her fingers down her throat again and 3-4 gags later she puked again. It was pretty wet with big chunks of meat and sauce. She retch some more before bringing up a little bit more. You could tell she was still queasy but she said she’s done for now. She flushes while I grab both our things to head home. (I just shot a text to our boss explaining the situation. This is not the first time we’ve left early because my friend was puking). I walk her to the can and hand her a bag which she gladly accepted and I started driving home. She would gag over the bag but sadly she didn’t puke. When she got home she fell asleep. I convinced her to eat some pho when she woke up which she did eat and was able to keep it down. I would have loved seeing her puke some more but I was also glad she was feeling better.
