Hii, so since you like hearing about kintypes i thought I'd join in. I only recently discovered my kintype-well, i guess i always knew but i didnt know thats what it was called since i didnt know what otherkin meant. I had been drawing pictures of myself with roots and branches because it just felt right long before I understood otherkin folks enough and its kinda upsetting that we're such a little-known group bc there might be more of us if more people knew what it meant.

um hello?? i think i may be fictoinkin because i have a really really strong connection to a fictional character and before i even knew what series he was from or anything i saw him on my dash and i just immediately felt connected to him and it's been a year and that connection still hasn't gone away, however his character is kind of a piece of shit so i see hate for him on my dash a lot?? it's usually untagged too so idk what to do does this make me a bad person

I'm fictionkin, and all of my friends who are fans of my canon say that I'm one of their least favorite characters. I feel personally offended. (To be fair to them, my character /is/ sort of a douche.)

hey there! ive just heard of the otherkin tag and like gah its hard to explain but is it ok to just question? is there a way for galaxy/star kin to feel things like animalkins (sorry, idk what better way to put it) do with tails and ears? u-u sorry if i sound like a dunce, im still pretty new to otherkin things

it’s fine to question! it’s possible to be both, you wouldn’t be the only one. there is no limit to how many and what types of kintypes you can have!

Cool new kintype: pixivkin / artkin

Definition: A type of fictionkin where you identify with a character portrayed in a piece of artwork that is not part of any series or fandom. Mostly refers to reposted art from pixiv.net, where the first name is from, but can mean any art with a character (humanoid or not) in it. It’s also not limited to digital or modern art, as you can can be artkin with a character drawn by older painters like Monet and Rembrandt.

i just wanna say i just found out i was fictionkin(lapis lazuli from steven universe) recently and i'm !!!! so happy !!! i've never felt such a connection to a character and just !!! wow i'm so happy !! sorry i just really wanted to tell somebody !
