My Kamui Woods theory is that his quirk is related to Urushi, the Asian lacquer tree.
1) His ultimate move is called Lacquer Chain Prison.
2) While his wiki says the flowers on his belt are roses, they look more like the peonies that you often see on carved lacquerware. Either the manga artist was drawing sloppy roses or reasonably accurate peonies that symbolize honor and courage which matches Kamui's hero persona. I think they're a reference to his ultimate move.
3) Kamui's red leafy hair is also a match in shape and color to urushi leaves in autumn.
That's all I have for now.
The fish outside Rook’s window during the romance scene at the end of Veilguard:
Been playing a bunch of datv lately so here's some art I've made for it 🫡
Edit: I just realized there is a spoiler so look out 😭
decorate prev
sprinkle snowflakes in their hair ❄️
tie them up in ribbons 🎀
cover them with twinkly fairy lights 💡
bells all over 🔔
wrap them in a huge scarf 🧣
deck them with boughs of holly 🌿
put a star on their head 🌟
set them on fire 🕯️
I was going through the scene where Lucanis 'misses' Ghilan'nain and I'm beyond furious that the game states repeatedly that he missed. He did not miss! She parried him! Any Rook with a background knowledge of fighting would have seen and known that!!! Lucanis didn't miss!!!!!!!!
Sorry yall datv has had me in a chokehold these past few weeks 😭💀
Especially this guy right here 💀
Is Edgeshot alive? I am okay with spoilers but I haven't read like the last 40 chapters because of school but when I checked he looks like a worm :b
I remember like two years ago I was so sad because he is my favorite just for him to end up like a worm??
Yes in the manga we saw him with jeanist alive in all his worm glory 🫡. Due to the stress of using that technique to revive bakugo, he's currently stuck in the worm state. But, it's implied that in time he should be back to his human self again!
My guess is that he'll never truely back to his true self due to technique taking some of his life force and that fact he probably lost some or all of his legs.
We'll probably never know for sure, but here's a sassy wormshot for you!
He has hands now! >:)
...
Has anyone else noticed that Kamui Woods leaf hair is a different color than the leaves on his branches?
I'VE FIGURED IT OUT Y'ALL
Im not sure how many of y'all been wondering this but i believe I've figured out what tree kamui woods is!
In the anime it was recently reviled that kamui's leaf hair was red at this time.
I was a bit surprised that they went with the red color instead of green but makes sense since it's winter time in canon rn. But anyways I did a lil research on the topic since ✨️why not✨️ and came across this!
This caught my eye since kamui's leaves are a red and so are these! Im sure there's other trees that turn red but there's already a solid option here! The oaks and maples can be roled out due to their leaf shape being so unique leaving only the dogwood option left. Looking at a dogwood leaf in the fall and comparing it to kamui I'd say we got a match!
Since we now have a good natch physically i wanted to see if symbolism had any juicy details!
[Link in image if interested in reading] The two most important meanings/symbolism i took in the context of it meaning something to kamui is it's connection to religion and hope.
Kamui actually already has a tie to religion which is why i thought it was important. The Kamui part of his hero name means "god" or "deity" so when you translate his name it basically means "god of the woods" which is dope! It's one if not my favorite hero names in the series bc of this! Now in Christianity dogwood is believed to be the wood Jesus was crucified with making it pretty important despite not being in the Bible. My grandma who loved dogwoods actually had another story that she told me! I don't remember exactly how it went but basically people used to be hung by the branches of dogwoods. However, God didn't like this so to combat it, he made the branches of the dogwood week so no one would be hung from one again!
Being hopeful is a pretty important part of being a hero in my opinion. As a hero, you should alwys be hopeful that what you're sacrificing now will better the lives of people in the present and future! Also being the light of hope for those in need is just as important! We see this topic in full force brought up during the dark hero ark where many heroes lose hope and retire along with the civilians losing hope in the heroes and take things into their own hands. Not all heroes retired though! One of them being kamui woods! In fact, on the info page about him it states "theres are rumors flying that he [kamui] might just be the one who blazes the trail of the next generation."
To wrap my thoughts up about the symbolism of the dogwood and how it relates to kamui i believe it fits pretty well! Idk if hori actually thought of a specific tree when designing kamui or if he did it even be a dogwood but it's fun to theorize!
It is the Jeanists Birthday. The Best Jeanist's Birthday. Happy Birthday to the denim man.
Was playing around with drawing traditionally for the first time in a while, decided to have fun with it :]
Not my usual style but it was fun lol
Headcanon for mount lady we all know people with quirks often awaken at a young age and considering most superhero outfits work with their quirks how did you think yu managed her clothing issue when she discovered her quirk because last time I check quirks don't effect normal clothing
Hello!
My best guess would be that she did a similar thing that mirio did with his costume! While I don't think they made a bunch of shirts or pants, I do think that they at least made some undergarments. That way they could make more from less hair. Also, to me she seems like someone who likes long hair so the less to chop the better!
Going of the this, I wonder if she had to do some quirk training as a kid to keep from accidentally transforming? Like, accidentally transforming in a school would one, be dangerous for the people inside and two, super costly for her parents! We see that in the anime, manga, and spin offs that seemingly strong emotions/passionate feelings can trigger her quirk. So maybe she had to learn to control her as a part of the training.
Present mic and best Jeanist would be THE duo in dress to impress. (Roblox)
I don't think I've ever uploaded and of my 3d stuff before so would yall be interested in seeing them?

Updated Mt. Lady dnd design 💃
I recently learned about goliaths in dnd and realized they were a better fit than tiefling so I made a new design for her! While I still like the idea of her being a tiefling, I like her being a goliath more.
Also, I'm open to different name suggestions and marking bc I'm not to sure I'm 100% happy with them.
Idk who the dead person is btw I'll figure that out later 💀
