This is a little off topic, but do you know what Kirins pronouns are? I don't want to offend anyone.

Kirin/Dave-the-person’s pronouns are they/them, according to their twitter bio, and I believe they identify as genderfluid.

Kirin-the-character’s pronouns are… well. On the basis Dave stopped most of the Kirin-based stuff around the time they started using they/them pronouns, Kirin is referred to as he/him during most of the content out there. As far as I know, Dave’s never contradicted that, or given an explicit canonical gender/pronoun choice for Kirin, so I guess he/him or they/them are your best bet if you want to be ‘canonical’.

I use "they" because it is never outright incorrect. I was not out when I did a lot of my content (and some of my content was influenced by me realizing I should). Saying "Him" for Kirindave the character in YCP is fine. Saying "him" for the KirinDave vampires is canonically incorrect. Thank you.

If I can get 100 positive notes on this post, I’ll find a way to record at least 4 hours of a Minecraft 1.8 Botania Skyblock (“Garden of Glass”) with Su. And post them. But I have to know people would want to see us playing together again. A bunch of folks.

And of course, I’ve not made it easy to read this post. You can only see it on your tumblr feed or on mobile. So I doubt this will happen. But if it does, I promise we’ll do it and have it posted fully before the end of April.

I have twenty videos of the production of this KirinDave fanart, adding to a total of somewhere in the general vicinity of 25 hours of video.

I’m five videos into the first pass of stripping out the sound and compressing everything to x4 speed. I am also removing long pauses (such as when I had snacks or took bathroom breaks), and times when I flipped through other people’s fanart for reference, because it’s easier to trim them out than to cite sources (I’m leaving in the times I googled for photo reference of sheep and such).

After the x4 speed pass, I’ll string everything together, and further speed some moments up. But even with two speed passes, this is going to be a very long video. I don’t expect many people at all will watch it. But if my process is helpful to any other artists out there, or if anyone finds it interesting, I want it to be available.

So expect that. Um… eventually?

…you know, this is not in any way easing my confusion.

we’ve already been over the ‘yes’ with conditionals to excite goat, and i’m gonna say ‘yes’ to unknowable too since he is a pretty mysterious excitable goat, but. i’m not 100% on the future cosmos thing, though, that sounds a bit more like xephos’ jam.
