This is honestly the most relatable thing Cyrus has said so far.

So I rewatched all travel banters with the JP audio on this time and I noticed that all of them say the name of the chapter’s main character (rather than a phrase or something) and how they call it out:

Ophilia and Tressa use the honorific ’-san’ on practically everyone* (then again they’re the two youngest of the group)

Cyrus, Olberic, Prim, Alfyn, Therion, and H'aanit don’t use honorifics

*But here’s some exceptions:

Tressa doesn’t use honorifics on Alfyn which shows some comfort/familarity around him

Cyrus uses ’-kun’ on Ophilia only (which surprised me coz I expected for him to use it on Tressa too but yea)

Alfyn and Tressa call Cyrus by ’sensei’ (expected the others to call him that too, especially Ophilia, but surprisingly nope)

My favourite: Alfyn calls Olberic ’dana’ which is a casual way of saying ‘boss’ in Japanese

So yea, not really a confession but I guess I find it interesting to see this since use of (or lack of) honorifics shows a bit of the characters’ personalities and how they view each other in terms of familiarity/respect. Plus, I wanted to share this to the fandom haha!
