DOG FRIEND HAS RETURNED HELLO YES
The friendly fluffy creature is back!
Friend! Friend! Climbs up onto the dog’s face and licks his fur, squeaking happily.
//School started, and I made a couple of other rp blogs without forethought, so I'd been completely drowning in stuff and only just checked back on this blog. Wow. The time sure does fly. I'm so sorry I've been away for such a while. I'll get to the stuff I owe; I'll check back here more often, and I should also set up a queue. I probably should have declared a semi-hiatus.
So I'll still be around, but you can also find me here and here (where I have human muses and where I am significantly more active).
The blond couldn’t help but chuckle as Yoi parked it on his keyboard. Cats wanting to be the center of attention was kind of cute, and he didn’t have to turn in any work for a couple of days, he could use a break for a few minutes.Â
He rose an eyebrow at Yoi while he was sniffing the mug “I don’t think you’re gonna like that too much.” He warned, but of course, cats don’t understand what you’re saying. So he went ahead and tried to drink it. “Easy there.” He sad, scooping up Yoi and placing the cat on his lap “I don’t know if lemons are healthy for cats and I ain’t about to find out the hard way.”
He gave the little fur ball a pet “Do ya need more water or something?” Talking to his pets like they were humans was something he would probably never get over, but at least nobody was home to blackmail him. “I can get you some.” Even though that meant getting up, and he was quite content with where he was.
With the first taste of the lemony drink, Yoi pulled back sharply to blink the bitterness out of his eyes. He shook the liquid out of his fur. It wasn't bad, but it had taken him by surprise. The kitten scraped the top of his tongue with his front teeth to remove the taste, opening and closing his mouth as he did so.Â
Yukimi lifted him from the keyboard and placed the little cat in his lap. Here Yoi was closer to his human, but he couldn't ensure that Yukimi would pay attention to him. Yoi watched his human's hands closely, but one held the mug and the other petted him. Deciding he was safe, he settled back to watch his human drink the bitter liquid. The cat rubbed against his human's shirt as Yukimi continued to stroke his fur.
But he had made himself thirsty. Still, he couldn't just get up and trot over to the kitchen; what if Yukimi went right back to typing? So when Yukimi lowered the mug again, Yoi reached out with a single paw and tipped down the rim of the mug - down, down until he lost his balance and threw his weight onto that paw to keep from falling.

For days, Yoi had been trailing a boy who ate excessive amounts of food, enough that Yoi hoped he wouldn't notice that some of it kept vanishing. Whenever the boy looked away, Yoi snuck over to drag away a morsel or two of food. But today, the cat had been feeling daring. He'd grabbed a particularly large bite, and he wasn't quite out of view when he sensed the boy's movement.

As soon as Yoi caught the scent of snake, he knew it was something too large to handle. But he had just narrowly escaped from animal control. He had no choice but to press on in the direction of this snake. The little cat climbed through gardens until he reached a particularly vibrant one. Here, the presence was strongest, but he would be able to hide. Hackles raised, shivering, the cat slunk through the garden, keeping behind the larger plants until he slipped and knocked over a flowerpot. He yelped as the crash was followed by a rush of that horrible serpentine presence.
//If you follow me and I haven't made an intro starter for you yet, I'm working on those today.Â
Sanae had been working on typing up one of his secret reports for the Composer. He had put some balloons and toys on the floor, in case Yoi wanted to play with them, and hoped that his adopted daughter (Raven) wouldn't mind if the kitten accidentally popped a few. He had a few on the couch as well, and wasn't surprised when he felt something brush up against him, "Hey there little guy..." He said, calmingly, and gently stroked Yoi's fur.
Yoi had quickly found that the balloons were too smooth to get a good grip on, but after the first two had snapped in his face, he was more careful with his claws. He batted them across the room to the sound of the clicking keyboard. Looking around, Yoi noticed a few balloons up on the couch, and hopped up. One of them floated into the Producer’s lap. The kitten pounced after it, only to pause, purring, as Sanae began to pet him. He climbed onto the angel’s lap to catch the balloon, stepping on the keyboard as he did so.
Watching Yoi play with the balloon, Sanae laughed, gently grabbing it, and held it in the crook of his arm. "Ya’ want me to pet you?" The Producer asked, gently stroking the kitten as he watched it. "Here, let me help ya’ out." He said, grabbing a deflated balloon from his pocket, and inflated it just a little so that Yoi could hold it better. It was a smaller balloon too, only made to be blown up just a little, and it seemed to be perfect for the kitten, "Now don’t sink your claws into it, a’ight?"Â
Yoi took the balloon in his front paws, but it was disconcertingly squishy now that he was used to the firmness the fully inflated ones. His paws sunk deeper into the rubber, and without meaning to, he extended his claws to get a better grip. Suddenly it popped, the explosion of noise blasting into the cat. He jumped, fur puffing up, and scrambled to safety against Sanae's body. Yoi shook as the fear wore off, part of the balloon still clinging to him.
Raimie looked down at Yoi, blinking in confusion before looking back at Yukimi for help. She didn’t know what the cat wanted. Yukimi arched an eyebrow in reply and patted his stomach before walking away, leaving the blonde even more confused.Â
"Ummmm… Do you need a belly rub?"
Yoi circled Raimei's legs. With Yukimi gone, the room was a lot quieter, but the growl of his stomach only seemed louder. But, being unable to properly communicate with humans, Yoi rolled over when the human went to rub his belly. But would she get him food? With half a plan, he batted at her hands with extended claws.
//I'm finishing my drafts today, but heads up that replies are going to be really slow from now on. The school year's starting, and I'm taking three AP classes, plus I'm doubling up in my Creative Writing class (I'm taking two years of courses instead of just one), and my commute from school is two hours. I'm also writing a fic as part of a Big Bang event until the middle of December, so I won't have a lot of time. But I will still be active, and I'll be on as much as I can.
Kouichi was done gazing up at the sky. He turned to leave, but as he did so, he felt a small prickle along his legs. He cast his gaze downward to find a small cat. He gave the feline a bright smile before scooping him up in his arms. “Well, hello there.”
Yoi's first reaction when Kouichi touched him was panic. Suddenly he was at this creature's mercy; there was nothing for him to hold onto. He squirmed, and hissed, and clawed at Kouichi's arms, anything so the immortal would put him down. But in a moment he noticed that the boy had a kind smile and gentle hands, all the warmth of a human. AÂ deep purr swelled throughout Yoi's body as he nuzzled at Kouichi's face.
Yoi's human had been slumbering heavily for far too long. The cat had become bored with the toys around the cafe back rooms. When he popped the first balloon, the noise had sent him hiding under the bed, and he figured that surely the angel would wake up, but to no avail. Yoi had tried meowing at Sanae and even going into the cafe and knocking over some pastries - along with their china. Still nothing. Finally, Yoi climbed up onto the human and dug his sharp claws into Sanae's cheek.

—{♣} Sanae had been sleeping, something angels rarely did. His hair was messy and down, still dressed in his usual white dress shirt and black waistcoat. His sunglasses were next to his bed, crisp and clean. There was a young girl next to him, black hair and was wearing a similar outfit, but with a blue shirt and a black black pleated skirt.
When Yoi clawed Sanae’s face, the Angel jumped, waking up and smacked the kitten. He got up, and looked around, feeling blood drip down his cheek as he went to the bathroom. He washed the wound and put a bandage on it, not really wanting to spend too much time on fixing it.
He went to find Yoi, and when he did, he picked up the kitten and layed back down in the bed, holding Yoi close to him. “What’s wrong?” He asked looking at the small cat fondly. He wanted to say he wasn’t mad, so he grabbed a balloon from on the floor, and held it out to Yoi so that he could play.
When the angel had woken and smacked Yoi, the cat gave a sharp yelp and jumped back. Hackles raised, he retreated a safe distance, crouching under the bed at the corner. His side stung a bit as he watched the human stand and vanish into the washroom. His human was finally awake!
But his human returned with bandages on his face. Yoi began to purr a low sound like a warning. His human was injured. It was terrible. He puffed up his fur and stared sullenly and disdainfully as Sanae returned to the bed. He slunk further into the shadow in shame. But when Sanae picked him up, Yoi couldn't help but relax into the embrace.
Yoi looked at the peace offering and pawed it gently. He didn't have anything he could give Sanae in return, so he licked the angel's hand as a peace offering and an apology of his own.
//I'm back! I have a surprising number of drafts, so I'll be getting to those as soon as I can.
//Head up. I'm going away to a summer camp for two weeks without any access to Internet (or mobile). If I've rped with you, I'd love to keep doing so. I think I have just one draft to finish. Just know I haven't abandoned the account, I just won't be able to access it for a while.
At the sound of the commotion Yukimi walked back into the living room, drink in hand. With a half amused smile he placed his drink down and rearranged the papers before scooping up the cat up and placing him back in his original position beside the computer. “Not too fond of the computer eh, Yoi?”
He exited out of the error message before turning and scratching Yoi behind the ears. “Don’t worry, I have the same reaction when it goes off when I’m working in the middle of the night, you’re okay.”
Yoi knew all was well the moment Yukimi entered the room. He hadn't upset the order of the universe. He purred at Yukimi's touch. Now that Yukimi had given the cat a little bit of affection, though, he wanted more of it, Yukimi's full attention. He trotted over and sat on the keyboard so that it wouldn't distract his human. The computer was safe now. His human had fixed it.Â
Yoi wondered what the drink was, and decided that he wanted some. He leaned over, sniffing at the rim of the cup. Before he knew it, he had dipped his whole muzzle into the cup.

Yoi had been out and about in the bustling city of Kingsbury, enjoying the crowds and the fragrances, when a strange presence prickled at the corners of his senses. The kitten sniffed furiously at the air, but it was slippery and difficult to locate. Finally, he caught a vague scent of this presence, but it was enough.Â
He traced it - it must be magic, yes, but a peculiar sort - across the street, to an unobtrusive door, not terribly different from the other doors that lined the way. But the door remained closed, and now that Yoi had the scent, he could tell that someone had recently left.
Skidding across the stones, Yoi chased this trail. He slid to a stop, nearly colliding with this human's heel, and backed away a few steps, fur beginning to puff out. But his curiosity urged him onward.Â
Yoi followed close behind, wary to approach this human but reluctant to keep enough distance to risk losing him in the crowd.Â

There was something... off about this white-haired human that Yoi couldn't place. Yoi's hunting instincts were screaming at him, but he also felt a strange, terrible humility. He knew this being, whatever he was, was something much greater than himself. But Yoi was still a cat, and endlessly curious. He approached Kouichi warily, for the boy's scent revealed very little. He jumped up, extending his tiny claws into Kouichi's pants, trying to climb closer to the heart and head where he might understand.
She had wasted no time in going to bed the night before, even forgetting to find and put Kurogamon away. So, in the morning, when she couldn’t seem to find the sword, she started yelling at the first person in sight. Unfortunately, that person was Yukima, so there ensued a long yelling battle, as he didn’t know where her sword was either.
As Yoi yawned and stretched, his neck still sore from sleeping on the sword, his stomach growled. He must have gone to sleep without eating. He headed toward the shouting match, into the other room. Yukimi was too big and loud, but Yoi was hungry, so he reached up and placed his paws on Raimei's leg, meowing loudly.
