to the mods, what’s your headcannons of the characters?

Mateo: used to be a "popular" person at school just because he was mysterious and wouldn't hang out with anyone (he was just terrified of dying young)

Rufus: will never cross by bridge ever again, doesn't ride his bike when it's raining, and stays up late talking to Malcolm and Tagoe about their lives (like their little girls night)

Orion: Listens to every playlist about Golden Hearts, thinking about them like it's genuinely about him and Valentino and compiles the songs that are the most repeated in those playlists to listen to.

Valentino: definitely moves in with all of his clothes, and when asked about the furniture he just gives a shrug. (Scarlett takes care of it after) also he looks like he'd enjoy watching figure skating

Did you really go in that Mateo manhunt? If you did, did you actually recruit your whole family into it? What was it like when you finally did find him?

Rufus, semi-fixing his bike: Oh, yeah. 'Course I went. He made me afraid that he wouldn't have his glasses up there, so why wouldn't I? Found him before I found my family, man. Turned out he was finding me first, that kid.

I think.. I think the best part about that day was finding him again, yknow? Finding him in a place we won't be able to leave each other after. It was like a retry at life. A good way to start over. Him as a changed coward and me as a changed man.

Scarlett, thinking about it: Heard from a friend that Dubai chocolate is good. I still haven't tried it even if it died down. But milk chocolate is my go to. Specifically Crunch.

what places would you go for a road trip? Also how will yall act being together in a car for HOURS? (Including if you bringing people or nah)

Rufus: Honestly? I wanna go to some place cool. Like Six Flags or somethin'. Problem is that I don't got a license, yknow, with my bike and all. I've been in road trips couple of times with my family, but it's kinda hazy. Mom said that I was a huge trouble maker and asked a million questions. Guess sleeping the entire way is off the list for me.

Mateo: I've been on a few road trips upstate, maybe in the tri state area, but never out. I think it'd be fun to go south though! Definitely warmer. It's either I'd be asleep the entire time or constantly checking the GPS and worrying about exits. Don't put me on the wheel.

For Future Orion, do you sometimes watch Valentino goodbye video?

Orion, putting down his phone: Sometimes is an understatement. It hits harder late at night when nothing but the thought of Valentino is on my mind. Although, it really is nice to hear his voice, even when I sometimes cry to it.

(I feel like Orion would totally find playlists from fans about Golden Heart and listen to the one he feels like captured Orion and Valentino themselves.. headcanon though..)
