i get why liftblr would overlap with like, weedblr and tcc, but why are there so many witches
Because the majority of liftblrs are teenagers and lots of teenagers like to pretend they have magic powers. Itās a phase that has been widely documented
Who's ready for my bullshit opinions??? Huzzah!! Well I grew up in a WILDLY pagan/wiccan eclectic polytheistic religious family. My family worships mother Lilith, aka demonism. That being said, I have dabbled in witchcraft and magick. I've learned that it's all about sub conscious, there is no magical power in anyone. But we are all more capable than we realize. My mother once told me all humans have a blocker in our minds that stop us from revealing our true capabilities. I believe that energy is very strong in our world, and that it lives in all things, and it's up to us to manipulate it in a way that betters us; such as crystals or the sun. But more than anything, it gives us peace of mind to rely on nature and energy. Now, that being said, Tumblr has a lot of wannabe witches, who yes do practice real witchcraft but wouldn't ever go as far to devote themselves to a deity other than God or whatever because they are only interested in the aesthetics or the benefits of manipulating energy. So why fake 14 year old witches who binge AHS and eat pinecones dwell on Tumblr, I don't know. But for others, it's no different than those who devote themselves to hinduism or judaism. The difference between a real wiccan and a fake one is that a fake one only does basic spells occasionally, has no spiritual attachment to the way they are living, and thinks it's cool or whatever. But for real wiccans, we devote ourselves to our lifestyle and our deities. We worship, make altars, and we most importantly don't wear crochet ponchos and uggs. Most of the time.
