Calvin Klein Reveal Review

I recently received a sample of Calvin Klein - Reveal cologne from Influenster to try out on my husband and review.  I think that the scent of the cologne is great, masculine but not woodsy or sportsy.  Some colognes have a sweaty/sweet smell to them or an outdoorsy smell and this one does not have either which I am grateful for.  I think the cologne is great for him to wear on a night out or even just for daily wear.  It is not too strong, it is just the right scent for us!

Rimmel London Product Review

Compliments of Influenster I received two Rimmel London products in my Frosty VoxBox.  Before Influenster I had never given much thought to Rimmel, I thought they were a cheaper brand therefore a cheaper product.  But after being with Influenster over the years and receiving countless Rimmel products to try my opinion has deeply changed!  In my Frosty VoxBox I received a full size makeup remover and a waterproof kohl eyeliner.  Both products are great!!  The eyeliner glides on smooth and hardly smudges.  The makeup remover works, even on the waterproof eyeliner.  It is gentle and does not leave my skin red or in pain afterwards.

Celestial Seasonings Taste Test

I recently received two packets of Celestial Seasonings seasonal peppermint decaf tea.  I have to say this tea is great!!  It has a great peppermint flavor without being overpowering.  And being it is decaf I can enjoy it at night before bed without consequences!  Very glad for the opportunity to experience this product!

Boots No7 Protect and Perfect

I received a sample of Boots No7 Protect and Perfect serum complimentary from Influenster.  I am supposed to review the product but being the sample was so small I cannot attest to the fact that it works or not.  I will say the serum does go on nicely and dries smooth but for the high price tag I cannot commit to purchasing the product without having had a larger sample.

Frosty VoxBox Review

About a month ago I received the Frosty VoxBox complimentary from Influenster!  I was VERY excited to get this box, the holiday themed boxes are always a special treat.  Unfortunately I did not feel the box met the high standards it is supposed to live up to but I did enjoy the products inside.  I was most disappointed in the sample of the Boots Beauty product only because you can never tell if a product will work or not based on a very small sample.  The best item I received was the EcoTools hairbrush, it dries my hair much faster than my old brush!  I was very impressed.  I also received makeup remover and eyeliner from Rimmel London, both worked great!  And a NYC Color lipstick in Sugar Plum, I am not a big lipstick wearer but the color is nice.  Another nice surprise was a sample of Celestial Seasonings peppermint tea and a package of Fruit Vines, both were very tasty!  Overall, I think it was a nice box but I would have definitely been WOWed if more of the items were full size products not samples.

Bikini Ready Lifestyle

So as another part of my Influenster tasks for my Vitality VoxBox they asked that I let everyone know how I get bikini ready!!  Being that I was pregnant all summer my routine was different from usual.  Typically I drink a lot of coffee and run around like a madwoman but this year I had to cool it and take it easy.  The BEST diet regimen I have found is my toddler.  He is non-stop all day, 24/7.  If I did not work and just stayed home chasing him I would probably be 20 pounds lighter.  I work at a mainly desk job so all that sitting for 10 hours a day isn't too good for my bikini bod.  Maybe next year I will be able to test out those Bikini Ready gummies and see if they do me any good!

Vitality VoxBox

So Influenster, the company I blog about fairly often, qualified me for another VoxBox!  I was excited when it came in the mail because it came before I knew I was qualified!!  This box was filled with a lot of goodies but unfortunately some where useless to me because I am currently pregnant with baby #2!!  There were some #BikiniReady gum drops that are supposed to help you with energy and a box of Playtex Sport tampons.  Besides for those two items I also received a sample of Flawless Future by Elizabeth Arden which is a wonderful product!!  Not something I can afford on a regular basis but definitely enjoyed the sample!  It is a wonderful product definitely worth the investment for those who can afford it.  Another product was a bottle of Lipton Pure Leaf iced tea.  I love these teas, they have such a good flavor!  I also received a new lip balm by Softlips.  It comes in the shape of a cube and its wonderful!!  It fits anywhere and makes my lips feel soft and moist.  Last but not least I received a full size sample of First Degree Burn Cream.  I have yet to try the product on a burn (I've been lucky!) but I did rub some on my husband's burned shoulders and he said he felt relief!  I know the product isn't exactly for sunburn but I figured it would be the best way to at least test the texture and its not bad!!  Not greasy or oily and it rubbed in nicely.

Overall this was a great box and I am so grateful that I am a part of Influenster!!!

TLC VoxBox

I mentioned Influenster in my previous post.  Since then I have been signed up for another program.  This is one just for moms and is called the TLC VoxBox.  In this box I received a coupon for Breyers Gelato Indulgences ice cream, a full size Neosporin Neo-to-Go, Avon ANEW makeup, Puffs Tissues sample pocket pack, a Shell Fuel Rewards card and an Ivory Soap bar.  I was very excited about this box because it was just for moms.  My favorite product has to be the Neo-to-Go.  It is awesome!!  It fits right on my keychain and with my little man running around all the time it is always there when I need it.  I also loved the Breyers Gelato.  It is rich and creamy without the high cost some companies charge.  I was not impressed with the Avon makeup, it actually made my skin burn.  I could also not test the Shell Fuel Rewards because I do not have a Shell gas station anywhere in my area.  Puffs and Ivory I use daily so I am an advocate for those brands but neither were a specifically new product to test.  Overall, it was a fun box but nothing to brag about.  Hopefully I qualify for another program soon to give it another shot!

Rimmel London RetroGlam Mascara

So anyone who knows me knows I have the worlds worst eyelashes.  They are stick straight, light in color and so thin.  Which means mascara only weighs them down and the lashes are so thin they just clump up so easily.  Well I finally found a product to cure all my lash ailments!  Rimmel London's latest and greatest - Retro Glam Mascara!  It is AMAZING!  I received the product complimentary from Influenster for testing purposes.  I figured I would try it but it would be the same as all my other mascaras.  Boy was I wrong!  I put it on and noticed right away how bold my eyes looked.  The mascara did not make my lashes curl on their own but once I used my eyelash curler what a difference I could see!  My eyes were bold, bright and wide open!  Super curly and the curl lasted all day.  This mascara is a must-have in my book!  Love it!

Mustela Physiobebe No-Rise Fluid

OMG!  Best product on the market in this category.  I LOVE it.  It cleanses and removes stuck-on diaper cream, baby powder, urine and poop.  Within seconds!  I showed my husband one day when he was having trouble wiping our sons bottom and he was amazed at how fast the product took care of the mess.  One wipe and the mess was gone!  I am going to give this to all of my friends as a baby shower gift!

Colgate Slim Soft Review

I am signed up with this great company called Influenster.  They are a great site to check out for product reviews and they will occasionally send members samples of things to test out and review.  I was recently sent a Colgate SlimSoft toothbrush.  First off, I love the look of the brush and it has 17x slimmer bristles for a deeper clean.  Sounds great but unfortunately for me the super thin bristles were super soft so I did not get the deep clean I was hoping for.  I highly recommend the product to anyone who likes soft bristles.
