Tamamori Yuta to appear in TBS Friday 10PM’s Drama “REVERSE”
Kis-My-Ft2′s member Tamamori Yuta will appear in TBS Friday 10PM Drama, “Reverse”, which is set to start in April 2017. The drama stars Fujiwara Tatsuya, as Fukase Kazuhisa and Toda Erika as his love interest, Echi Mihoko. The Death Note pair finally reunites after 11 years since the last Death Note movie.
Reverse is based on the best-selling mystery novel of the same title, written by Minato Kanae (Confession, N no tame ni, Yakou Kanransha).
Fukase Kazuhisa (Fujiwara Tatsuya) is 32 years old. After graduating from a famous university, he leads a rather boring, simple life. The story starts when Echi Mihoko (Toda Erika), his girlfriend, receives a letter saying, “Fukase Kazuhisa is a murderer”. Fukase finally had to come face to face with the death of his bestfriend, Hirosawa Yuki (Koike Teppei), a memory he sealed away in his heart. 10 years ago, the two and a group of friends: Tanihara Koki (Ichihara Hayato), Azami Kousuke (Tamamori Yuta), Murai Takaaki (Miura Takahiro), Murai’s sister Asuka (Kadowaki Mugi) went on a snow-boarding trip. An accident led to Hirosawa’s death. However, there is a big “secret” behind this accident. Tanihara, Azami and Murai, who share this same “secret”, have also been receiving the same threats. In order to protect his loved one, Fukase decided to find out the truth behind the incident 10 years ago. What was the crime and truth 10 years ago? And who is the one who sent out these threats?
Character description: Azami Kousuke (Tamamori Yuta) 32 years old, Fukase’s friend from college. Azami is rather stoic and belonged to a flamboyant group during his school days. Now he is a high school teacher. He is cruel to his students, so he always gets into endless troubles with students and their parents. Feeling guilty about Hirosawa’s (Koike Teppei) death, even after 10 years, he still refrains from drinking. After receiving the threats, Azami decided to join Fukase in his quest for the truth behind the incident.
Tamamori’s comment: I have seen the drama adaptions of Minato Kanae-san’s previous works, “N no Tame ni” and “Yakou Kanransha”, so I have this image that suspense mystery = Minato Kanae-san. Just hearing the name Minato Kanae makes me interested in what kind of work it would be, I think the “Actually...” writing style is truly her brand. This time I get to work with Fujiwara Tatsuya-san. There was this time that Fujiwara-san just said one sentence and the whole set bursted out laughing. With just one sentence from him, the whole set became brighter instantly, that’s how it is I think. Even though I will be playing a 32 years old character, I am actually the youngest one on set, so I always look at the onii-san’s back and learn from them. I will do my best to deliver a great work.
