I'm still amazed by how this turned out. You were able to show exactly the feeling Revas feels through the story, it is so meaningful😭 and the technique! It wasn't an easy request, but the mixed of painting and more iconic style turned out beautiful.

For a few years Harel lived in the deep roads with the Legion of the Dead, who accepted him in after they saw his raw magic attacks, fierce will and recklessness. At first he was just considered a sort of extra asset, but after some time they accepted as a real member of the Legion and gave him their typical painting. After all, Harel had nothing to live for on the surface.

Here i imagined him running from... uhm, a dark spawn camp? or something like that, i usually imagine things in my head that are quite hard to see on the drawing :’)

I finally conviced myself to draw Hawke more seriously. He’s the one i draw least, and i usually just do rushed headshots and such but i sure love him so much hgfdsf I usually keep his ordinary mage clothes because i love them, but i wanted them to be a bit darker and slightly different! I need to do his full ref sheet as well, shame on me

Anyway have this big, tall gentle man who has serious sleep and blood mage problems. During the main story, you see, he just wants to lie down and sleep forever or die. Both choice would be perfect for him

This evening i put my hands on Revas’ ref sheet and changed a couple of minor details, so i decided to re-upload his updated sheet and delete the old one, this time with some extra info about him <3

-Revas was born in the Denerim Alienage. His parents were a city elf mother and a dalish elf father (who is also Harel’s father). He discovered to be a mage at the age of 8, during an attack to the Alienage by a group of Fen’Harel agents who came to kill Revas’ father, a former agent himself. While trying to defend his family he froze an attacker and crushed him into pieces. After that, Revas mother decided to take his son to Kinlock Hold herself, sure in her naivety that he was going to have a better life and be protected by those who killed his husband.

-Before entering Kinloch Hold, Revas had another name. His original name was Fen’an (wolf heart), given by his father who believed, as an agent of Fen’Harel, that his son’s six birth marks on his body were a sign of fortune given by the god himself. After he was killed, Revas mother thought it was quite the opposite: they always had a difficult life in the Alienage, his husband was murdered and his son cursed with the gift of magic as his father. For this reason she changed his name in Revas (freedom), so he could be free of his previous, cursed life. The only bond to his past is the father’s staff, that her mother left with him at the Circle’s doors. Now Revas is very fond to his staff and reveals his old name only to his closest friends.

-Revas is cheerful, chatty, witty and social with everyone. It’s easy to get caught up by his flooding words and speeches as he’s also very good at guessing a person’s needs, problems and desires. It’s rare that Revas is not able to obtain what he wants when his tongue is at work... in all senses. The elf loves sex, loves to flirt and have fun in the sheets and has no problem in showing his sexuality and sexual preferences. When short on money, he even went to work at the Pearl to gather some funds for the group and their quest, and he was more than happy to help like that.

-Revas is not a good fighter, mostly because of the sheer terror he feels for pain and unwanted contact. He always stays far away from the fight, helping the party with long distance spells and shielding himself with protective ones. During his travels he learned more crowd control spells so he could paralyze or stun a too close enemy, and for the same reason he specialized in ice based magic that he uses in many ways. When wounded or simply touched by an enemy Revas becomes unable to do anything to escape, he freezes on the spot and is often victim of heavy panic attacks, becoming more vulnerable to further assaults. For this reason his friends, but mostly Alistair and Zevran, learned to always keep an eye on their favorite, scared mage during busy fights.

-He knows everything about birds. He loves them, and birds related books were the only books he really read with interest back in the Circle. When Revas sees a species he doesn’t know, the elf goes completely wild and is excited to bits, observing it for hours and all. He hoards feathers of all kind and he loves to use the most colorful and beautiful ones for his fancy outfits.
