Ringing in the new year with none other than iced coffee and French toast.
2021 was often a really mentally hard year for me, but one that also brought about some really positive things for us. I left a job with an injury that I’m still healing from, I gained a new job. We found our beautiful little puppy and survived tough isolations together. I had SO MANY dreaded doctor’s appointments. I had the worst reading year , but I invested more time in photography and AM LOVING it. I picked up film cameras for the first time and became obsessed with the anticipation of the end result.
My beautiful old doggo Stella passed away on Boxing Day after spending one last lovely Christmas with us 💛
I’m not sure what I’ll think of 2022 yet. I just hope we can stay safe and explore some more things that give us joy. I still feel like I’m taking each day as it comes, but I’m feeling a little more positive for now. I hope you’re all able to take it as easy as possible while we transition into the new year. Be gentle on yourselves, friends x
