Paris is not exactly a cheap place to travel but the baguette sandwiches are amazing value. Cheap, delicious and available most anywhere. Perfect eats to enjoy along La Seine while taking in the breathtaking views of the city.

After the eventful layover in Shanghai, we landed in Paris. This photo is the view from the AirBNB studio apartment ($70/night) we booked for 5 nights, which sat conveniently between St. Ambroise and Rue Saint-Maur metro stations in the 11th arrondissement.
