Do Not Pick the Flowers

Just want to leave a friendly reminder that the berries will be at their fullest sweetness potential when they are dark red. If picked too early, berries may ripen in color, but not in sweetness. Meaning, it will still always taste like a green berry! These berries are also the ones that will be ready for picking next, so if picked too soon, it leaves our field bare for the next days u-pickers. Please also keep in mind the flowers on the plant turn into berries, so please do not pick the flowers!
