Great news, everyone! Our zines have arrived, and they look wonderful! We will start shipping when shipping supplies arrive (end of this week). Hence, shipping will officially commence next week! Friday the 7th will be the LAST day to make address changes!

🔹PRODUCTION UPDATE🔹

Hello everyone, apologies for the silence—we've been able to reach our original representative for our manu to talk about our project's order, and we have important updates to go over in the following thread. Below is a TLDR, but we expand more under the cut. Thank you for reading!

TLDR; There's been a miscommunication between the rep we talked to and us, zines are still in production, the current shipping schedule has been changed to mid-October, production update emails have been sent to buyers with proof of purchase.

After speaking to our original representative a few days ago, we realized that there had been a miscommunication during a previous call. We were under the impression that the zines should have been finished sooner, but unfortunately, we are still in the production phase. This is why we have not received any tracking number. We now have solid confirmation from our original representative that they are currently working on the covers of our books, and the interior pages are done and bounded.

Due to the paper shortage, the usual length of 4 week working time has been pushed back to about 6-7 weeks instead, and we are currently on week 5. This means, at best, we will receive our books by the end of September instead of our promised early September. We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience and for unintentionally giving out inaccurate information. We realize that our previous setbacks with the zines have been disappointing, but in light of this news, we will be pushing back our shipping schedule to mid-October.

This change has been reflected in the Carrd as well.

We understand that this situation isn't ideal for everyone, and we want to do all that we can in being reassuring from our end. We have sent out production update emails to buyers which include our proof of purchase for the zines, do reach out if you have any concerns.

Once again, we sincerely apologize for the lukewarm and disappointing news. The mod team unfortunately does not have a hand in making things go faster on the production side of things. However, we will continue to do our best to be clear in communications — both with our manufacturer and of course, with you all.

🔹PRODUCTION UPDATE🔹

Hello everyone, thank you for your patience! This production update will include details like address verification emails, ETA of zines, as well as an updated shipping schedule with dates. As always, we will be letting everyone know if anything changes.

TLDR: Zines are estimated to arrive by 28 Aug, address verification emails will be sent out and the window for correcting addresses will be till 4 Sept, we will begin shipping on the second week of September. 

We received our final zine proofs last month, but chose not to post them without a fuller status on a conclusive ETA for our zines. Here's what they look like!

The embellishments framing the title are in silver ink, and the title itself is silver foiled.

At an angle, the title even looks embossed, which gives it a pleasant texture and elegant look! We're extremely pleased with how it turned out.

We've been communicating back and forth with our printer, and have been told that our zines should be shipped off by the end of the week (28 August at the latest). Although we've tried to appeal for a rush order as our zines have been in production for too long, it isn't possible to get it done any faster than they can, due to the supply issue setting them back a few weeks.

Following this, we have a new schedule update: we will be sending out address verification emails today, and you can send corrections for your address until 4 Sept. We have reflected this change in our Carrd.

🔹PRODUCTION UPDATE🔹

Hello everyone! We apologize for the lull in updates since April, as well as the unexpected delays on our shipping schedule. Please read the thread below on some important information about our current timeline, as well as zine PDFs.

Currently, we're mostly playing a waiting game for two shipments to arrive, the washi tapes and the zines. We've yet to receive a tracking number for the washi tape, but have been informed that we should receive them before the end of June. Our finance mod is currently keeping in contact with them on the status of our shipment, and we will be updating everyone with pictures when they arrive. As for our zines, our manu is unable to give us any conclusive dates as to when they will be finished in production, as they are currently experiencing problems unrelated to our project, such as supply shortage as well as some staffing problems that leaves them short on hands. We've pressed for our zines to arrive at the very latest before the end of July, but we're holding out hope that they will preferably arrive in mid-July or earlier if possible.

That puts our shipping schedule further back to early August at best. We hope it doesn't get pushed back any further, but we will be keeping in contact with our manufacturers in hopes of expediting the process, or at the very least, keeping everyone updated if any other delays occur. If you'd like to update your address, please reply to this email and we'll sort that out for you! Regardless, we will still send address verification emails to our buyers two weeks before shipping occurs to give a time window for buyers to update any of their details.

As for some good news: since we've experienced so many production delays, the mod team has decided that we will be sending out the PDF orders to buyers earlier, instead of after physical orders have been shipped. Currently, we are proofreading the side zine, and once it's polished, we will be sending them out to respective buyers.
