At the iQIYI World Conference 2026, they announced that they're making an Oh No! Here Comes Trouble short drama. Nobody asked for this… we want a season 2 with the original team. I have a feeling this will be the same as the audio drama, where it has no relevance to the original series or Lin Kuan Hui.

The bigger concern about this short drama is whether it's even going to be a genuinely human made production. At the conference, iQIYI revealed that 117 actors had signed with its AI talent database. However, after the livestream, a bunch of actors released statements denying that they had signed any AI authorisation agreements. Don't know what iQIYI is tripping on, but it seems like the CEO is serious about AI dramas.

The ON!HCT short drama can be bad but it can't be AI please 😭😭
