'What was hide like as a friend?'

DIE: hide was younger than me, but he was like my older brother. He was a caring guy, like when he saw someone upset he would comfort that person and ask ”Are you alright?” However, he was an alcohol addict. If he drank too much, he would go crazy. MAD: He had a particularly good sense of humour. Especially if somebody told a lame joke. Nobody would laugh except him.

The 2012 Revolver Golden Gods, Featuring Marilyn Manson, Slash, and more!

To be honest I had not idea of what was about this contest but in this link is pretty well explained. Here’s a summary:

The fourth annual REVOLVER GOLDEN GODS AWARD SHOW will take place Wednesday, April 11, at Club Nokia in Downtown Los Angeles. For the first time ever, the event will be broadcast live in its entirety on Xbox LIVE, as well as on the Xbox and Revolver Facebook pages. Tickets go on sale today Wednesday, February 15 at 5 p.m. PST, via Ticketmaster, click here.

Also on April 11, The GRAMMY Museum, next door to Club Nokia, will open its new exhibit Golden Gods: The History of Heavy Metal. The exhibit will feature never-before-displayed artifacts and live-performance and an interview footage.  “We are thrilled to be partnering with Revolver to tell the story of metal,” states GRAMMY Museum Executive Director Bob Santelli, “and offer fans the opportunity to engage with their favorite artists in such a personal way.”

Beginning today, fans everywhere can cast their vote to decide who will take home the awards  Voting starts today at: www.GoldenGodsAwards.com and ends on April 1. 

The Golden God Award, given to one special honoree a year who embodies the spirit of hard rock and metal, will go to KISS demon Gene Simmons and 2011 Best New Band Golden God Award winner BLACK VEIL BRIDES will perform.

There will be special performances and collaborations that honor both the past, present and future of heavy music. The night’s hard-rocking musical performances will include sets by MARILYN MANSON, SLASH, EVANESCENCE, SIXX:A.M, DJ ASHBA and JAMES MICHAEL.

Do you imagine X JAPAN performing there? I think they will be so happy. Most of their own idols and friends will be rocking at the event… So guys, I’ve been reading and I also kinda understand you. They’re also many of my favorites bands in the same category… But there’s something that makes a difference: All that bands are already famous around the world and perfectly positioned on music market. It would a nice chance to being more recognized as a band if they win… And also… what they did the last year for us. They came to a such remote places just to make our dreams real, because to being honest the places where they performed aren’t even a quarter of what they use to sell in Japan. So if you wish to help please keep voting everyday! We have until April 1st to show our love to X JAPAN <3, btw I also found so funny that in the most dedicated fans category is BVB :P If we could win the last time we will do it again. Let’s do it.
