SURVIVOR MEANS THAT YOU MADE IT OUT. & I DON’T THINK ALL OF ME DID.
indie canon divergent lydia martin, penned by jen. est. 2011.
OUT. || psssssssst
OUT. || Kol right now? He's been awake. It's more like the muse or whatever has been doing a bunch of solo projects and that hasn't led to conducive circumstances for RPing. But like? This blog isn't technically dead; or I don't want it to be at least!
OUT. || boo bitch
CHARLIE ROWE.
OUT. || Sometimes Kol really puts the “morbid” in “so i faced a whole childhood of various levels of abuse from pretty much everyone in my nuclear family and now i have to confront a whole fleet of comorbid disorders because of it.”
OUT. || there are so few hours until real life kolydia happens with @bellexmort
OUT. || sorry flops but kol has always been the hot sibling.
𝑩𝑼𝑻 𝑬𝑽𝑬𝑵 𝑰𝑭 𝑯𝑬 𝑯𝑨𝑺 𝑭𝑨𝑳𝑳𝑬𝑵, 𝑯𝑬 𝑭𝑰𝑮𝑯𝑻𝑺 𝑶𝑵 𝑯𝑰𝑺 𝑲𝑵𝑬𝑬𝑺. kol mikaelson is alive. realized by ellie, established 09 february, 2016 ; crossover & au friendly. age-appropriate fc, and lots of moon stuff . mutuals - only ; high activity
❝ Nothing ever ends poetically. It ends and we turn it into poetry. All that blood was never once beautiful. It was just red. ❞ ( credit. )
“I wasn’t expecting a warm welcome. Definitely not from you.” Coming here was definitely something of a last resort, but word of mouth had him as the best possible option for the solution that she needed. It wouldn’t have even been considered an option, looking to Kol for help, if she hadn’t recalled something said by one of his siblings, weeks or months ago, a conversation she overheard (and likely was not meant to hear) about his knowledge (even if inability) of magic.
“I’m looking for a book. A book I’ve heard you might have on hand.” Not that she was planning to tell him why she needed it, or particularly why she needed an original copy, since google had many (false) translations and copies out there. “Or was I led to believe wrong that you actually had amassed a wealth of old books you couldn’t possibly use the spells for?” Given that he was a vampire and all. “I heard you say it, so maybe it was just idle bragging.”
. "USUALLY, WHEN SOMEONE shows up at someone else's door, they do so with a fraction less venom than what you've decided to grace my place with," Kol replied pointedly, leaning against his doorway to form a casual kind of barrier between his abode and anything a Bennett witch could drag in with them: namely, their problems which they would try to convince him to be his own problems. Or, as was the habit of the certain group she hung out with these days, they'd kill him to get what they needed, because he was imminently expendable.
He couldn't help, however, the small smirk of genuine amusement at Bonnie Bennett's attempt to psychologically manipulate him. It would have worked on any other Mikaelson, admittedly, so he could understand why she'd try to leverage herself into what she wanted by playing on his pride. But Kol's pride wasn't a delicate sort of thing, considering he'd never had anyone outside of himself to build it upon. Every shred of pride he had was hard-earned and he already had the evidence of his own accomplishments.
He grabbed the door around its edge, readying himself to swing it shut. "You heard wrong, little witch" he said with an overtly-empty smile. "What use would I have with books that I couldn't possibly use? Can you and your lot go murder one of my other family members this week instead of me? I've got a full schedule."

OUT. || I have to get back to work but don’t forget that in my universe, one consequence to an Original getting immolated is that they come back without hair, bc duh.
IN. || Expecting someone to do/be the worst to you doesn’t mean they can’t hurt you or disappoint you when they are the worst to you. And that, precisely, is Kol’s issue with his family.
OUT. || @seesgood stared at her dash and said “kennett” three times and I logged back in.
THE SIGHT OF her immediately gave him a migraine he had unaffectionately named Mystic Falls when it had first begun to develop. While Kol hadn’t particularly been hiding, the idea of Bonnie Bennett on his front step wasn’t precisely what he’d call a welcome sight.
“There’s a reason why there’s no welcome mat if you look down,” he said, crossing his arm in his doorway. “I can’t possibly think of a good reason why you’re here.”
