💥💥HELP WANTED: Kong Armor™ Service Technician Position Overview 💥💥 Kong Armor™ Service Techs are responsible for performing annual deck cleaning and spot touch-ups for our Lifetime Deck Armor Systems. Additional responsibilities include light-duty deck repair and maintenance tasks, such as periodic deck board replacement, securing nails and screws, and tightening railings. Ultimately, our technicians play a vital role in ensuring our Lifetime Deck Armor Coating Systems remain healthy, meticulously maintained, beautiful, and fully protected from dilapidation. 💥Work Environment & Clientele We are proud to serve exceptional System Owners across the Tri-State area. Our clients are respectful, accommodating, and generous, which creates a highly positive and pleasant work environment for our technicians. You will work in a variety of settings, ranging from standard residential backyards to some of the most exotic outdoor living spaces in the Cincinnati-NKY-SEI area. Projects are typically short-term, generally requiring half-day to one-and-a-half-day visits, with occasional exceptions. 💥💵Compensation💵💥 We offer highly competitive, exceptional compensation based on a pay-per-project model (1099 Independent Contractor). This structure allows you to work at your own pace, provided that all service projects are completed in a timely and professional manner. 📋✔️Candidate Requirements: Professionalism & Demeanor: Absolute maturity, professionalism, respect, and kindness toward our System Owners at all times. Exceptional customer service is a non-negotiable requirement. Equipment & Transportation: Must possess a reliable work vehicle (truck or van preferred) along with your own professional-grade refinishing tools and painting sundries. Required equipment includes: a working gas-powered pressure washer (2800 PSI or greater), a hammer, an impact drill, a circular saw, a square, and basic carpentry tools. Because we service premium deck coating systems, high-quality, professional-grade tools are required (our compensation structure more than accommodates the provision of these tools). Project Management: Strong scheduling, coordination, and time-management skills, with a steadfast commitment to customer satisfaction. Work Ethic & Physical Capability: A hands-on, proactive approach to getting the job done. Candidates must be physically capable of performing manual labor outdoors in varying weather conditions and must be able to navigate the natural highs and lows of fieldwork with a positive attitude.
