Konstantinos Karaiskos was born in 1999. He lives in Xanthi. He is the co-founder of adverb zine, a small magazine that has three points of focus: online short story collections, organizing workshops, and performance presentations. He has also co-founded his university's magazine, gumagazine , where he served as editor in chief during 2019 - 2020 and 2024 - 2025. He writes theater scripts, erotic short stories, and pieces of spoken word. His short stories and articles have been published in adverb zine, gumagazine, antivirus magazine, VICE, and anthropino. He has organized workshops of creative writing and performance in Xanthi and Kavala, following training in projects funded by the European Union. He adapted and directed the performance "Death Variations", which was presented in Xanthi in September 2024 and then filmed and presented in Alexandroupoli, Kavala, Thessaloniki, and Ioannina between December 2024 and January 2025. He is the winner of the first poetry slam competition in Xanthi in 2024. He is a student in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the Democritus University of Thrace.

I co-curated a workshop for gumagazine (my univeristy's magazine) and adverb zine. It's main goal was to create spoken word pieces, that could be used in the second poetry slam competition in Xanthi. The participants used creative writing exercises, to write the verses, and exercises used by theater groups, to prepare their bodies for the performance

I co-organized two collective design workshops, in nekubi (Kavala) and in Folk and History Museum (Xanthi). The two workshops were organized as part of the architecture students' contest "Co-habiting Vacancies", by CoHab Athens.

The participants used creative writing exercises to imagine their ideal houses and ideal neighborhoods, and then, with the help of architecture students, they tried to create blueprints and drawings of these buildings and areas.

Death Variations, an adaptation of the play of the same name written by Jon Fosse, was presented in ΑΣΞ in Xanthi. I had the honor to direct (and co-adapt, along with Vasiliki Stroli). The two actors were Sofia Chatzistefanou and Dimitris Dedemadis. A scene was choreographed by Aggela Isaakidou. The poster design, and social media mockups, were done by Stefanos Antoniadis.

rooms by adverbzine is is a literary game: the issues take the form of locked "rooms" that are unlocked with specific "key cards." A physical pack of "key cards" (photocards with qr codes in the back) leads either to specific stories in the issue or to the entire issue.
