This song is a tribute to one of my favorite creatures from the Fallout universe — the legendary Deathclaw.

Ever since I first encountered these beasts in the wasteland, they stood out as some of the coolest, most terrifying, and most unforgettable creatures in gaming history. The design, the power, the presence — everything about the Deathclaw feels like a living legend.

So I decided to take that inspiration and create something epic: a hardcore boom bap / dark bebop monster anthem told from the perspective of the creature itself.

This song is a tribute to one of my favorite creatures from the Fallout universe — the legendary Deathclaw.

So I decided to take that inspiration and create something epic: a hardcore boom bap / dark bebop monster anthem told from the perspective of the creature itself.

Some legends are played.

Some legends live forever.

The Deathclaw was never just a creature of the wasteland…

It became a piece of gaming history.

From the Ninth Circle to the Texas dirt roads,

The devil brought a recipe nobody knows…

Turn up the bass, let the smoke roll thick,

Ice Devil in the kitchen with a horror flick twist.

Verse 1

Ice Devil walked in with the devilish grin,

Cowboy boots stompin' while the night begins,

Got a big iron pot and a Texas-style flame,

Everybody at the cookout knows the name.

Verse 2

Drayton Sawyer stepped up with the family pride,

Talkin' 'bout his chili like a trophy on the side,

Claimed it was famous, claimed it was the best,

Ice Devil laughed, "Man, put that recipe to the test."

Verse 3

Leatherface came through with the chainsaw sound,

Shaking up the kitchen while he looked around,

But even Bubba knew when the music hit loud,

You gotta bring the flavor if you wanna impress the crowd.

Verse 4

The Hitchhiker rolled in acting wild and strange,

Straight razor jokes and a mind out of range,

Ice Devil said, "Calm down, grab a spoon,

We ain't starting chaos before the full moon."

Grandpa sat back like the king of the hill,

Watching everybody argue over the chili pot still,

Old legends gathered underneath the moonlight glow,

A Texas nightmare turned into a comedy show.

The Sawyers brought the attitude, the legend, the fame,

Grandpa just nodded from his old chair,

While the devil threw a party nobody would dare.

This track was inspired by my love for wild, over-the-top comedy and the unforgettable energy of Carrot Top’s style of humor. I’ve always been a big Carrot Top fan, and I always felt there was something special about that kind of crazy inventor energy, where every idea could become the next ridiculous adventure.

I always thought that world had so much more potential — like it could have kept going with more adventures, even becoming a cartoon full of endless crazy inventions and chaos. So instead of waiting for another chapter, I decided to create my own musical adventure.

The Ice Devil opens the gates of the Ninth Circle and meets a chaotic inventor who brings impossible gadgets, surfer energy, and a whole new attitude to the frozen underworld. Together they transform a dark boardroom into the ultimate supernatural surf club.

With crushing 808s, eerie horror vibes, surf-rock energy, and Saturday morning cartoon madness, this track takes you through frozen waves, haunted beaches, wild inventions, and a board meeting unlike anything you've ever seen.

That's the idea that inspired this project. After seeing a fan interpretation of E. Honda in a Mortal Kombat setting, I couldn't stop imagining how his discipline, honor, and sumo spirit would stand against Outworld's greatest warriors. I wanted to take that inspiration and bring it to life through my own creative vision.

This song isn't about changing who Honda is—it's about showing how a warrior built on respect, perseverance, and tradition could earn the respect of even the deadliest fighters in Mortal Kombat. From Baraka to Sub-Zero, Scorpion, Goro, Sheeva, Kitana, Johnny Cage, Sonya Blade, and Liu Kang, every battle is another step in Honda's legendary journey through Outworld.
