The daily maintenance for a shale shaker-Kosun model QZS833

QZS833 shale shaker is the first solids control equipment in the whole control system. It separates the large amount of solids separated from mud for convenience to enter the 2rd separation equipment. This equipment c

an be used with one, two or many decks. KOSUN also provides the divided-flow manifold.

KOSUN QZS833 shaker is a HF linear machine. It includes three screen frame and two vibration motor. It features handle adjustable while drilling (AWD). The personnel can adjust screen frame from -1°to+5° as the work proceeds. QZS833 shakers can separate the cuttings due to the special structure and design. Fix the vibration motor on screen frame by strong support bar and situate it on screen bed.  Using base frame, the vibration motor can affect the vibration force (G-force）on screen cloth directly. Avoid the shaking effects on screen basket by isolation mounting. The screen bed is raised lightly for better to tension the screen cloth.  Longer life and perfect performance can be combined using this way.

Daily maintenance can ensure the longer life and make the equipment run without any trouble. The daily operation schedule is flexible. The users can change it according to their use experiences.

Consider following items in drawing up the maintenance schedule:

Daily operation includes proper inspection and clean. The daily maintenance is recommended as following：

Check the feeder inlet connection pipe whether there is leakage. Tight the inlet connection pipe according to demands. One time for each shift

Clean the sediment from inner wall and screen bed on the water hose while the equipment is in running. These sediments will increase the snubbed block load and reduce the shaker separation capacity for solids. One time for each shift or according to demands to decide

Inspect the screen tension and work status. The connection of screen and screen basket should be reliable. Any hole or deficiencies in screen is prohibited. Otherwise, the solids will be drained. If the screen is damaged, change it in time. One time for each shift

Inspect the horizontal support , support strip and side support (Drawing 004) to make sure whether they are damaged or deteriorated. If these parts are ineffective, change the damaged screen.

The daily maintenance for motor will follow.

The Installation and Maintenance of ZYQ Series Drilling Fluid Gas-liquid Separator

ZYQ Series Normal Pressure Type Drilling Fluid Gas-liquid Separator is a kind of special equipment for the primary degassing of gas cut drilling fluid and is mainly used to get rid of big bubbles with diameter ≥φ3mm in gas cut drilling fluid. These big bubbles mean expansible gas filling drilling fluids in certain sections of annulus space and if not being degassed, the gas is easy to cause well kick and even erupts from rotary table. ZYQ Series Normal Pressure H2S-Proof Drilling Fluid Gas-liquid Separator adopts high quality materials, effectively prevents erosion of harmful gas and ensures safety of staff and machines as well as production.

Installation: Generally, the gas-liquid separator is installed on the ground close to 1# mud tank, and the ground must be horizontal and firm, and is preset with foundation bolt pits.

When installing, use crane to hoist the separator by lifting eyes on the top of main body, slowly place it vertical to the ground, use steel wire ropes to tighten the separator with the ground via three positions (uniform distribution) on the top of main body, ensure main body vertical to the ground, place foundation bolts and fasten them.

After installation, lead 1# exhaust pipe (Equip pipe by self. If pipe needs to be supplied by the manufacturer, give a clear indication when ordering goods) to a place 60~80m away from the well and connect it with the portfire. Connect 7# mud inlet with rotary blowout preventer or choke manifold, close butterfly valve of 5# sewage draining exit, and connect 4# mud outlet to 1# mud tank with pipes.

When transporting, dismantle pipes, loosen steel wire ropes, use crane to hoist the top of main body, unscrew foundation bolts, and place it horizontally, and the ladder can be used as a transport support.

Maintenance: Check and keep 20# machine oil in oil fogger at the middle of container; when not using the separator, drain out drilling fluids from it and wash it with water, and it is forbidden to store mud in the separator in case it cannot be used normally due to dried mud.

Sifting bed structure

KOSUN screen basket is of weld components and vibration motor & screen plate base are installed on screen box by parts. Screen basket locates on the adjustment beam and there are bumper springs in four corners near the screen box, which can avoid the screen basket vibrating effect on parts & devices in the neighborhood. There are three or four screen panels on the enough strength for screen basket.

The middle part of screen basket is higher than two sides transversely and the bulging arch the screen can be tensioned more easily and the screen life and efficiency of removing solids particles can be improved as the work proceeds.

AWD angle adjustment system

The angle adjustment system while drilling, AWD for short, can raise or lower the screen basket end during the work. This part includes two vertical column assemblies that are connected on the upper column assembly and are attached to the shaker base.

The movable part of AWD consists of the lower column,limit device that controls vertical movement and hydro jack that drives the upward & downward movement of the screen basket. The fixed ends of jack are connected in upper column assemblies and the movable piston bar is fixed in the lower column assembly. Reciprocately pulling the operating grip of the hand pump or starting the oil return valve of the hand pump can make the screen basket move upward and downward respectively. The screen basket can be adjusted within -1°～+5°. Fix and lock the elevator with clamp pin at the suitable angle, which can reduce the attack on the hydraulic pump when the basket is running at this angle.

Feeder:

The mud treated by other equipment or mud that returns from well will flow into the shale shaker through feeder tanks which has a buffer effect on the drilling fluid and can make the mud flow onto the screen equably .This can reduce the mud attack to the screen and increase screen work life and mud treatment efficiency. Meanwhile there is a square cover on the tank top and from here we can test the mud performance.

Vibration Motor

It boasts of the features of stronger vibrating strength, higher reliability and easier maintenance. The exciting force is generated by eccentric rotor and the exciting force of single motor can reach 38kN. Suitable ambient temperature is : -40℃～150℃.

How To Move/Position The Shale Shaker Equipment

1. Use stay bar elevating equipment to prevent damage.

2. To ensure proper balance and orientation when unit is raised and prevent damage to components, attach lifting sling only at designed lift point. do not attempt lifting by attachment to motor or any other location.

3. Be sure that handling devices have sufficient lifting capacity to safely handle the weight of the equipment.

4. Do not remove shipping brackets until equipment has been positioned at final instruction site.

Be sure to use the provided four lift points while elevating devices such as crown blocks are used to elevate the equipment.

Centrifuge Decanter Working principle:

LW（G）centrifuge machine is driven by two motors. The main motor drives the drum and the outer casing of differential through belts while the auxiliary motor, after the differential shifting speed, drives the spiral propeller.
