Started off in the field and finished in the sand ring. Worked on a little bit of everything and had a fabulous ride 😊

This show had a lot of firsts. First time I have fallen off at a show, first time Kin has refused a jump at a show, first time the trailer has been late both getting to the show and going home, first time there wasn't time for a warm up, first time I haven't been allowed to warm up over the fences, and the first time I have truly experienced unfair judging. Through it all, I was so, so, so very impressed with how mature and professional Kin was for the entire experience. I think if our trailer hadn't been late and if we'd have the time and opportunity to warm up, we would have been incredibly successful. But these things happen and that's okay. What matters is that Kin did fantastic and we had a good time in spite of everything! This horse is truly worth her weight in gold.
