Remember that time when I ordered too much for the two of us? Good times 😁. My friend Toshi showed my parents around Google. They were amazed and felt it was nice for them to put a ‘face’ on something they use every day.

Whenever my manager introduces me to people or wants to explain how our team can help the rest of the company with analytics, she says that I am a statistics major from Cornell and that I can do it all. But I don’t remember much of my stats stuff 😅…time to refresh?

I finally finished the tube of toothpaste I have been using since I arrived in California. I had one of those wow moments as I was brushing my teeth. This toothpaste has gone places with me. Mom's cooking is always the best.

Yosemite!!! Or as my dad likes to call it, yose mite. Lots of fun family time, shenanigans, catching up and giving advice to my sister, selfies, MOUNTAINS. Of course with more family time came moments where my parents’ impatience and temper and my own impatience surfaced. Despite all that, it was a wonderful time 😊 Crazy how there’s signal in this valley.

A pine cone flower for you! I thought about the timing thing and this doesn’t change the fact that there is another year in between, but I can try and get that MEng I wanted after haha

The New York Times is becoming my new “go to” website at work. Which is a terrible habit because 1. I should be working and 2. I’m expecting the site to come up with new news every time I check it, like Facebook. But news doesn’t work like that so my journey to the NYT lasts 5 seconds every time...Must work on ridding this bad habit like my hand on face one.

I'm learning to plan things out through the entire year. Got the impetus from Grace Notes excursions and vacations.

We did a new pronunciation exercise at rehearsal where we sang what is on the board really fast. I don’t know if I ever told you this, but one of the things I constantly thought about as a high schooler/college student was whether my back was straight. Whether I was walking, sitting in class, eating, showering, sleeping. I would be reminded at random times every hour. The thought of making sure my back is straight still comes up sometimes, but not at the frequency it used to. I still slouch pretty bad :/

No more sunset pictures at work :/ otherwise there won’t be much time afterwards haha. Time. Wish there was more of it. Acquired more art stuff today. Am I artist yet? 🎨

Rainy days over here. Makes running difficult but much needed for the tierra. Talked about the seven woes in Matthew 23 and how hypocrisy in the church makes some people “done” with church. Things we could all work on and also serving the community around us because to the outside it may seem like we don't care. Talked about celebration and thankfulness in all things at GC. It’s essential in our relationship with Christ to stop and celebrate and give thanks for what God has done.

The thing that stuck with me today: Praying faith-sized prayers. Never thought about God saying No as an answer to a prayer since I hear a lot of Yes’s in testimonies and selfishly, unconsciously choose to see Yes’s in my own life. Yes, No, Wait.
