Hello! I'm Krisi Chiki ⸜(｡˃ ᵕ ˂ )⸝ ★ I go by they/them. I'm a freelance artist, hobbyist writer and Vtuber! I speak Greek, English and Romanian.

I create anime-inspired art that leans into the cute and the whimsical. My work is full of stars, moons and colourful elements, often with a shoujo aesthetic influence. I favor digital watercolour and marker styles with vibrant or pastel colours. I aim for my art to feel warm, uplifting, magical and starry; pieces that make people smile and dream. ⋆˙⟡

Back in May I had the opportunity to draw a Witch Hat Atelier OC!! 👀

Elegy was a lot of fun to draw 💙 I was able to play around with his long hair, the coat, the hat ribbon and the magic seal to create a circular composition that draws the viewer in. It turned out really well, I'd say! ♪(^∇^*)

The fight is on! My first attack of the year!!! ( ◡̀_◡́)ᕤ ⋆｡°✩

This is an attack for TheBiggestFoody, featuring their lovely character Lado! 💙

I wished to see how fast I can draw in this particular colouring style without compromising quality. Final count is 4 hours and 20 minutes. Is this fast? Slow? Honestly I'm not sure 😅 But I'm certainly getting speedier with my art compared to last year!

This was a super fun commission that I had the chance to work on back in March 💕 The idea behind these illustrations was so incredibly cute. I'm rather proud of the final result and how they match with each other! And of course, Lucy herself is an absolute cutie. It was impossible not to enjoy drawing her! 🥹✨ 💖💖💖

My art tends to lean more towards the cute fantasy side, so I don't often get the chance to draw characters that are especially cool or that fall outside my usual style. These two sci-fi characters, with their more mature designs and overall vibe, were a really fun challenge for me!

That said, I think they still ended up a little cutie-fied in the end, haha. I can't help myself!! 😭 I'm very grateful for the opportunity and had such a wonderful time drawing them. 🩵❤️🩵❤️🩵

The sinnamon roll (some days more sin than roll)

I redesigned Kimbli's hairstyle and went full cloud with him ☁️ as it's related both to his name and species (Kêybara — People of the Clouds).

And since he works aboard an Orealêus merchant ship, I leaned fully into the Orealêus style clothing which is inspired by Romanian and Slavic traditional outfits!

I had the honor of drawing this beautiful illustration depicting a very special date between Xiao and the client's OC!! 🩵🤍

This piece was an interesting challenge for me, as I'm not accustomed to painting full scenes and backgrounds in this soft pastel colouring style. Balancing the values and visual clarity while working with such hues required a lot of care. I wanted every major element to be distinct while still preserving the dreamy mood throughout the piece.

I was also delighted to draw Xiao again after such a long time! He remains one of my favorite characters and it was a joy to revisit him ✨

★ Current WIP 🎨🖌️ I have a few things in the works. First is my current commission. Although I got a new (albeit temporary) job, I still have commissions in my queue from before so I'm chipping away at them. Currently drawing a cute foxboy 🦊

As for my personal works, I haven't been working on any illustrations because I've been trying to finish my OC refs. I'm very nitpicky and undecisive so I ended up procrastinating too long 😭 But this time I put my foot down and said to myself 🫵 "You're doing it Chiki, whether you like it or not" Kimbli is almost done. Working on Mishhel next and then my girls Shadoka and Saria. I left those two for last because they need significant redesigns while the others are mostly outfit updates and are quicker to do.

── .⟡ This isn't her royal outfit, but a regular noblewoman attire. Sometimes Megi goes on undercover outings because being the Crown Princess can be suffocating and restricting. This is the outfit she wore during [certain story events] at the beginning and so she got stuck with it for a while 🤭

I'm very fond of the way the colours came out here, they are very soft and dreamy, giving the illustration a fairytale-like kind of atmosphere! All the frills and hair strands were a lot of fun to draw as well 🥰
