Iris just gave him a soft smile before she shook her head back, “You should, but I don’t believe you do. You better be careful or you’ll find out.” She smirked. “I’d really love to go together, that’d be great. We did kiss already, so it wouldn’t be awkward. But we could always practice more if you need it.” Iris looked at him then grinned.

He laughed as he shook his head. “Oh shut your face,” he said nudging her playfully. “Well I mean I’m all for practicing, but that defeats the purpose of having a special cheesy midnight kiss,” he laughed as he put his hands in his pockets and gave her a little smirk.

Daisy sat down in the cell while she looked up at Coulson who tried to tell her he was sorry once again but she looked away. It wasn’t the first time but it seemed like it’d be the last. “Here. If you need to call anyone.” She shook her head, wanting to lash out at him. For everything he was doing to her. Again, he was calling her a threat but this time he wasn’t trying to help her. He was the one keeping her in a cell. “The person I want to call doesn’t belong here, he wouldn’t get the call.” Daisy snatched the phone and tossed it down to the bed.

“I was going to leave with him, but you took that choice away from me. I wasn’t going to bother you or this world again.” Her eyes met Coulson’s while she shook her head, “I deserved that. I never destroyed anything, I helped people. Meeting you destroyed me. I was normal, I was a trouble maker but I was normal. Then I met you and ended up on the team, and I became what you fear the most. To protect the thing you say I destroy.” Daisy shook her head and looked down at the floor, knowing she always had inhuman DNA in her. But she could’ve been normal. “Get out.” She looked at him, her anger rising but her pain was well.

Simmons looked at Barry when she was thinking about a way to get Daisy out, Iris was confused as to why they’d arrest her. Fitz walked in spewing something about what he’d found on the internet about something random but he stopped when everyone seemed to be in shock. “What happened?” Fitz questioned and Simmons filled him in. “They have a meeting in thirty minutes. We can get to her then, but someone has to hack the cameras.” Simmons had them all on a certain side so the cameras couldn’t see.

Barry looked around wondering why people weren’t freaking out more. He just watched Daisy get taken away from the people that were supposed to be like er family. Sure he was put into the pipe line a few times, but on good reason. He wasn’t thinking clearly. Daisy was taken because she had powers that she had under control...she was anything but a threat. “Alright...well luckily you have one of the best hackers on our Earth,” Barry motioned to Cisco. “Don’t tell Felicity that,” he shook his head as Cisco made a comment about finally getting the recognition he deserved. When everything seemed to go out, Barry looked around and nodded. “Now we get Daisy. If anything happens, Cisco vibe everyone back to Earth 1. I’ll get back okay..” he mumbled as they all went into the hallway and down to where they were keeping Daisy.

As they moved, Barry tried his hardest not to use his powers. If they did that to Daisy, who knows what they would do to him. When they finally made it to her cell, he walked over to the window. “Daisy!” he said through it and he knocked on it. Looking around he let out a sigh as he tried to phase into the room. “Can you open the door?” he asked having no luck with his phasing.

Daisy looked over at him with a small laugh, raising her eyebrow when he spoke of his normal speed. Or lack thereof. She couldn’t help but wonder what that was really like. It was quite amazing to go from being a slow runner to being the fastest man alive. “I would definitely enjoy that, it’d be like me having a little sidecar on your little speed-cycle.” She joked, giving a soft smile. Daisy took a deep breath and looked down at her shoes, really hoping she could have that. Have Barry and everything he had, family.

She was starting to pack her things when she heard what he said, “You’d really have me on the team?” She asked him, pausing for a second to look at him. But a voice, a rather a familiar one, made her look up. It was Coulson. Telling her was sorry for this. Daisy knew what was coming next and she looked at Barry, “Get your team home, okay?” She leaned down and kissed him for a minute, probably too long since they had to pull her away. And put special power dampening cuffs of their on her they’d used before, or well, her mother had. They took off to a cell.

Barry chuckled a little and shook his head. He walked closer to her and put a hand on her shoulder hoping to give her some sort of comfort. “Hey, it’s gonna be okay,” he said when he noticed her eyes drop to her shoes. At her question, he nodded, “yeah...I mean...you’re powerful and not evil. Besides you would never be a threat to our team.” He gave her a small smile before making a face when he saw the Coulson guy come in.

Looking at Daisy, he made a face before kissing her back when she bombarded him. “Hey, wait!” Barry was being held back by very large guys. “Daisy!” he yelled as he broke away. Not using his powers because he didn’t need to be put into a cell himself. Running at normal speed into the hallway, he watched them take her. Remembering where everyone else was, he got to the lab. “They just took Daisy into custody or something...we gotta get her out,” he said in a hurry.

She narrowed her eyes as she laughed, him teasing her back was cute but she still wanted him to kiss her. “I would hope you wouldn’t, teasing or not.” When he kissed her cheek she knew a blush was rising on her cheeks but she tried to hide it from him. “You do not win, but I can’t escalate the teasing because it’d take it too far.” Iris crossed her arms with a smirk on her face but nodded at his question about her dad’s get together. “Oh, yeah. Of course. Are you going?” She didn’t know why she asked if he just asked her about it, obviously it meant he’d be going. But she tried not to be embarrassed by her own question.

Cisco chuckled a little and shook his head at her words. “Mmhmm, honestly, I believe you,” he laughed. When she said she was going to Joe’s, he smiled and nodded. “I am going. We should maybe go together. I mean it is New Years after all.” He smiled hoping she could hitch a ride with him and not go by herself.

Iris laughed and leaned back against her desk, looking at him with a smile. “Good, because you know I may get the urge to kiss you at random. And I just need to make sure you won’t turn me down.” She kept her eyes on his, now she really wanted to. “Thank you though, so are you. Really good.” Iris couldn’t help but laugh when he said she sucked, pushing up from her desk to get close to him. “Because I teased you?”

Cisco laughed at her words as he walked up and stood in front of her. Teasing wouldn’t hurt, right? She had been doing it to him, it was only right for him to do it back. “Why would I turn down a beautiful girl like you?” he said as he leaned forward about to kiss her, but instead kissed her cheek. “Yes and now I got you back soooo...I win.” He thought for a moment and realized what day it was. They were all supposed to go to Joe’s and have a New Years Eve party. “Hey, you’re going to your dads tonight right?” he asked as he leaned back on one of the posts near her bed.

Simmons didn’t stop Barry from going after Daisy, she actually preferred it. But showed everyone else around while she waited. Introducing them to Fitz. Daisy looked at Barry with a weak grin and took a deep breath. “If I was faster than you, that’d be something wild. But you running with me is a lot of fun.” She actually laughed and sat down on the bench in front of her locker. “I don’t know, Coulson said I’m a risk to the team. So I’m no longer apart of it.”

Daisy looked over at him, pushing hair from her face as she tried not to be okay with it all. “I destroy more than help according to people above him. So they wanted me gone. Coulson couldn’t say no, so I guess I can’t either.” She reached out and opened up her locked, knowing how much she was going to miss Simmons and Fitz. It was honestly the only reason she was upset about leaving. That and she was afraid she was going to be a risk to Barry’s city too.

Barry leaned against the doorframe of the locker room and watched her for a moment. “Hey, I am pretty slow when I don’t use my speed,” he joked as he walked over towards her, sitting down on the bench. “I can run with you again if you want.” Barry nudged her and let out a sigh when she started explaining everything. He never heard of something like this, aside from ARGUS there was no real government agency on his Earth that basically told metahumans what to do.

He furrowed his eyebrows when she spoke about people thinking she was a threat. He had gotten that a time or two in his life. People thinking he was hurting more than helping; thinking he was going to destroy the world if he didn’t act like the hero all the time. “You could always come back to my earth...” he finally said when she stood up at her locker. “I mean, we could always use more hands on the team and you could come back here and visit friends when you want.”

Daisy was already talking about Barry to Jemma when they were walking back over to the team, giving them all a smile. “I haven’t forgotten about you guys. I promise.” She looked at Barry, “Remember I told you about my best friend Jemma Simmons? This is her. And Jemma, this is Barry. Cisco, Caitlin, Iris, Ralph. And Sherloque.” She looked at Simmons who nodded at them all, giving them each a ‘hello’ with a hand shake. Before coming to Barry last, “I heard plenty about you already. It’s a pleasure.” Simmons smiled at him and Daisy looked at her before him. “I have to give you guys a tour, remember? Unless you changed your mind?” Her attention was immediately redirected to Coulson when he called her name.

“Simmons, can you give them a tour for me? Until I come back?” Jemma gave a nod, and a comforting grin, before she watched Daisy run over to Coulson. Who wasted no time telling her she was no longer part of the team. That she was too much of a risk. Daisy understood the urgency of Jemma’s words now, and she looked down. “Y–yeah. I uh–I get it. No need to explain, the risk part was enough. I get it.” She walked away past Simmons who looked at the others.

Barry smiled when Daisy finally introduced all of them. “Nice to meet you,” he nodded before keeping a close eye on Daisy when she left with what seemed to be the boss of this whole operation. Coming back to his thoughts, he nodded as he followed the very enthusiastic scientist around. While he looked around, a part of him was geeking out, but another part was more concerned with Daisy.

Seeing her walk by, he sighed and knew whatever it was wasn’t good. As Simmons looked back at them, he glanced around at everyone before Iris basically told him to go after her. Excusing himself, he followed Daisy and let out a sigh when he finally caught up to her. “You know, you might be faster than I am,” he began trying to make a joke. “You okay?” he asked coming up next to her.

Iris tilted her head at him a little and raised her eyebrow, “Or what? You gonna deny me if I did go in for a kiss or something?” She teased him, smirking but looking around her room. “Yeah, it’s a good size. I enjoy it. My mattress is nice too, but I’m sure yours is just as great. I say mine is softer.” Iris enjoyed messing with Cisco, more than she liked to admit.

He chuckled a little at her question before squirming a little. “What? No... I wouldn’t deny you if you wanted to kiss me again,” he smiled as his hands went into his pockets. “You’re a good kisser.” As she spoke, he only got more nervous and bounced on his heels. “Yeah... yeah.. you suck, you know that?” he chuckled realizing she was joking.

Iris gave a small laugh, seeing how he looked slightly nervous. “Thank you.” She nodded at his question and opened her bedroom door, “Yeah. It’s just an apartment tour.” She brought him inside, smirking slightly when she looked away from him. Something about him made her want to kiss him, this time so much differently than before.

Cisco gave her a look as he slowly took a step to her. “Better just be an apartment tour,” he mumbled to himself as he walked over to her. He stood awkwardly at her door frame and looked in. “It’s a nice room...honestly, bigger than mine so a little jealous,” he laughed as he looked over at her.
