People can’t handle a woman breaking free of the labels that they’ve used to chain her down.
Spencer Reid and Ashley Seaver's anguish over an unexpected pregnancy and the fear of each of them passing on an unwanted gene to the child, aka schizophrenia and psychopathy, would be interesting to read.
Here’s to the underrated friendship that is Spencer Reid and Ashley Seaver. People never talk about this because they narrow down their friendship to that scene where she cuts him off (which was just a bad move by the writers).
They were actually such cute friends, as they were both the youngest on the team and they were both rushed through the academy to be there so they related to eachother in a way that they couldn’t with anyone else. We also have cute scenes like the cinema scene where her and Reid are bantering with eachother and then we have towards the end of season 6 where they are both talking about getting curry together.
I’m forever mad at the writers for how much they let Seaver’s character down because I genuinely think she could have been so amazing and her relationships with Reid and Rossi were great to watch.
It was also really interesting to watch someone go on the journey from just a student in the academy to learning about how to become a profiler.
I actually have this saved in my drafts about a drabble of them staying late at night in the bullpen again (because they have no one to go home to and are both lonely)
ashley: “have you ever been afraid of your own blood?”
spencer: “have you ever been afraid of your own mind?”
Ashley Seaver had 2 dads.
No, I’m not talking about the serial killer.
I’m talking about the profilers. Both the grumpy one who overworries and the warm one who plays video games with her.

Me wondering if characters like Elle, Seaver and Jordan would thrive or be treated better had they joined the bau with the evolution cast
Your honor, I am literally just a girl. I can’t work under these conditions, the conditions in question being an unhealthy obsession with the lady profilers of the BAU:
GIFs aren't mine, they simply made me GASP. Somebody release me.
Every now and then I wonder if anyone told Seaver that Emily was back from Paris/the dead or if she just…walked into her in the hallway one day and had the fright of her life 🤣
