honestly otome and yurika had my favorite deck design ideas from that post, but i did like my ideas for most of them. i do wish they didn't skew so heavily yellow, since ichigo, otome, mizuki, and kaede all ended up partly yellow in their identity.

aikatsu partners and decks

ground rules: i'm picking their decks a la liberator, and they have a specific partner who is part of the deck and whose line is featured in it, but that doesn't mean they have to use a standard "tribal" deck (i.e. using exclusively that digimon and its line). i'll also provide what their tamer card might do if i have an idea for it.

ichigo is a gatomon tribal deck, with gatomon as her partner, but her level 6 is lovelyangemon. she's too perfect for ichigo - cutesy, fun, is an angel for angely sugar... being a gatomon tribal deck it's a yellow/red deck focusing on aggro-ing by trashing your own security to get effects. her personal tamer card probably a yellow tamer that refills her security after her own effects trash it.

aoi's partner is probably espimon, it's the closest fit to the style of futuring girl and also the espimon line is all about stealth and intel, and she *is* the master of idol intel. as a deck, it's all about turning your opponent's security face-up so you can see it. her tamer card is blue and you can suspend it to gain a memory whenever you turn one of your opponent's security cards face-up.

ran is a bit tricky, since butterflies are not common in digimon. to avoid making anything completely new, the best bet is morphomon, with her playing an eosmon deck. a white deck based around swarming with your eosmons and white tamer cards, her tamer card is a white card with an on play effect that benefits your eosmon - either an attack or a keyword buff for a turn. then she has a start of turn that lets you bottom deck her in exchange for playing out a morphomon from hand or trash.

otome is also odd, but i wanna do something silly with her deck. i her being an armor rush deck using all the cute and quirky armor digimon from the Digimental of Kindness, but i'm not giving her any of the 02 partners and instead giving her a cutemon. her deck is probably a slightly more control-y version of the veemon armors, all with security effects. her tamer lets you place an armor digimon's top card at the top of security to draw a card and gain a memory. (the main armors of her deck will be kangaroomon, opossumon, and either toucamon or pucchiemon)

yurika is a myotismon player and her partner is a myotismon. the myotismon deck is a purple deck that plays lots of tamers with myotismon in text, and her purple tamer would let her delete her tamer card whenever you'd play a digimon with myotismon in name to reduce its play cost by X and then do something on deletion.

sakura kitaoji could go a couple ways, but the one i like more is giving her the wind spirits from frontier, her partner being tinkermon. going with the wind spirits with ancientirismon as her mega feels appropriate for her fairy theme and elf-y vibes. the deck is a red/green aggro deck based around suspending enemy digimon and taking them down. i think her tamer card is a green tamer with inheritable "if this digimon has Hybrid trait, it gains Vortex."

mizuki uses a jougamon deck, though jougamon isn't in the game yet to figure out what that'd mean. (i just think she fits jougamon better than dianamon tbh) at a guess, she's a yellow/purple deck that gets benefit from having more cards in security than your opponent and can throw stuff from trash to security. her purple tamer probably lets you pull from trash to security when you do... something. (or gives you memory when you place cards from trash in security.)

kaede is another weird one, clowns aren't super popular in digimon either. but if we lean into the toy of magical toy... i think she'd do a numemon/monzaemon deck, numemon as her begrudging partner that turns into monzaemon. generally it's a black/yellow control/swarm deck, but i think she's a black tamer that can be suspended when you play a numemon to digivolve it into a monzaemon in trash with the cost reduced by x.

i was making a post about the aikatsu characters as digimon liberator tamers (i.e. they have a partner digimon and also a deck that goes with them, sometimes not a straight tribal deck (i.e. it could be a field deck or something like Royal Knights or Devas or a specific combo like Myotismon) but I got stuck on Aoi I couldn't decide who would be best for her managerial stuff plus cutesy futurism with Futuring Girl. Maybe Espimon but i wasn't sold so until i figure out what i wanna do with her i'm putting the whole idea on hold

the most annoying thing is know for sure for sure the decks and partners for ichigo and yurika, in fact yurika's deck is what inspired me to figure out the others
