HappyNewYear2023 to everyone.

My first meal this year is ozouni - our traditional mochi soup. This one you’re seeing now is though not quite “traditional” for me, because this is Kagawa local style with thick white miso soup and sweet mochi(anko paste is wrapped inside), even with sprinkles of seaweed powder.

This sweet ozouni(or it’s rather known as zoni when written in English) is “unusual” and “even never heard of” to most Japanese, I think.

But living in Kobe for more than ten years now, I gradually came to familiar with Kobe’s neighborhood cultures as well. :) yum!
