Happy New Year 2017

Year 2016 will always be memorable for me. Mixed experience.But the transition to 2017 was smooth and enjoyable. On Day 1 of 2017 I was able to implement the key resolutions that would hopefully define my near future. I pray to my parents, gurus and my god to give me enough courage, wisdom and commitment to go through these transformational changes in my life. Three of the core resolutions are (a) Think, See, Talk and Stay positive (b) Regain fitness and (c) Live your life as who you are and not who you want to be.

Amma, Appa - I am indebted to both of you for this life. You taught me to roll, crawl, walk, talk and live a human life. I have done my best to walk the straight, sincere path full of integrity and hard work so far. I have not flinched one bit. I am willing to endure anything to stay the course of “dharma” for the rest of my life.Though life has not been kind to me all the time, the value system instilled in me by both of you, has helped to tide over any situation and keep smiling. I am indeed happy with my family and my life in general, though there is so much more to do. Today I pledge my life once again to take care of my family, love them all. I will share whatever little I know and be helpful and kind to fellow human beings. Last but not the least, I will continue to be an eternal optimist thanks to all those who are associated with me and have taken precious moment of their life to wish me on my birthday, today.

Wish you a very Happy Birthday, my beloved Vidhya. May god bless you with the best of health, wealth, peace, prosperity and happiness in your life. I am truly blessed to have you as my life partner, friend, philosopher, guide at all times. My life is incomplete without you.

It is so heartwarming to see you transform from my childhood friend to a mother of two shouldering big responsibilities, standing shoulder to shoulder with all of us in the best and toughest of our times. It is amazing to see the amount of adulation and love you receive all the time, more so today, with wishes pouring in for the past 18 hrs via phone, email, Facebook, What’s App. It is a mark of a successful, humble, sincere woman who has demonstrated how to manage it all despite a successful career. I second every word of what Sharanya has written on Facebook . You truly are god’s blessings to our family.
