more than anything, i'm grateful that takeaway has been such a staple of light, happy, family entertainment. there really is no show on the telly like takeaway 🥺 i started watching a&d some time in 2014, and takeaway was the first show of theirs i fell in love with.... it has been ten years since then 🥺🥺 i'm roughly the same age as snt, so it's crazy to hear so many people say they grew up with the showー i'm in a similar boat, as i'm practically twins with the show! 💀

the show has grown and changed over the years, but it still carries the spirit of "entertainment" we all come to love and appreciate about a&d. it really is their show, it's the show that i have no doubt saying "this is what they create, this is who they are as entertainers, this is what a&d are"

saying goodbye to takeaway is going to leave such a large hole in my heart. there's no other show that can fill that void. i'm just thankful that i got to spend the last ten years watching them from afar (literally) with a huge, dopey smile on my face. thank you saturday night takeaway, all the cast and crew involved, and to a&d, for all the saturdays they made brighter 🥺

(悲報▪︎sad news) i was going to colour the snt fanart while on my flight today.... but it didn't save properly so now i can't work with the lineart i made, and i get home next saturday........... 😔😔😔 my heart hurts.... i should have checked if the file was in order before i left 😔😔😔😔😔

plus i'm unsure if i'll be awake enough to see the final show live (though i truly wish i could...) because my transit day is literally 30 hours long and i barely got any sleep. i'll be there in spirit 😭 enjoy it (live) for my sake as well 😭😭😭
