A little over three months ago, when I was in the middle of my quest to find a gift for my ship-partner on this blog (that wouldn’t cost him the space he barely had at his place at that time, as he requested) somewhere between his birthday and my own, I stumbled across these lovely artists whose wonderful portfolios got me wondering: “What if we are granted the honor of having the one OTP that has brought us so much happiness this year painted by their talented hands?” And since there was no way I would ever find out if I never asked, I gathered the courage to pitch my orders to them. I was literally over the moon when they agreed to take on the projects—and boy, did they deliver.
And in case you have noticed that said ship-partner and I are no longer in touch on the dash—well, that’s because we’re not either anymore in real life. Let’s leave it at that, though, because I’m not here to share what was truly between and about him and myself, and between and about him and myself only. I’m here to simply share the super belated joint birthday presents I commissioned, with someone I once held dear in my heart and what we both liked about our muses in mind.
So take this post as an homage to the bittersweet memories we used to create together. And really, what better timing is it to pay tribute to this couple than now, when the long-awaited airing of “Everything but the Rain” is just around the corner, right? ♥

Btw anyone knows this ice-breaking game where you hold your phone/paper on your forehead and ask people for clues and all they can say is yes or no until you can guess what’s the word in that phone/paper? What’s the name of the game again??? I need it for science. Totally not for my students.
