25. Your muse walks in one mine singing

Kurt had called for a One Three Hill meeting, to go over possible songs for their next gig which he hoped to book soon. In the mean time, he had the apartment to himself     both Rachel and Santana had rehearsal and he could only imagine how dangerous that was     and he was going through songs. He went through his personal iTunes playlist and streamed suggested Youtube videos, humming different songs to himself and imagining how they would sound as a group performance.He ended up on the music video for Neon Lights     and despite momentarily thinking that Demi Lovato could be Dani’s doppelganger      he found the song itself catchy. Singing at the top of his lungs along with the song, Kurt walked around the living room and tidied everything up. He was so lost in the song that he didn’t even hear the door open until he looked up from adjusting the couch cushions and saw Dani standing there. “    Dani! You’re early,” Laughing off the situation, Kurt waved her in and quickly stopped the song that blared from his laptop. "Should I ask how much of that you saw?"

Just friends. That was what he told himself the night before to reason the fact that, yes, Kurt Hummel was capable of having sex with Blaine without attachments. They had history together and it was only natural to have certain wants. He was worried that this pushed it too far, especially seeing as how it wasn’t the first time they ended up together, and it was getting harder to understand why he kept Blaine an arm’s length away.Kurt woke up first    he usually woke up first     and when he realized that he was still intertwined with Blaine in bed, his mind did a complete run down of what happened the night before. He wanted to lay there, to wait until Blaine woke up and say good morning just like he did when they were together, but that would send the wrong message. As if having sex wasn’t already sending the wrong message. He climbed out of bed, careful not to wake Blaine, and found his clothes in a pile on the floor. He was just buttoning his shirt when he heard Blaine behind him, asking him to come back to bed, and his hands froze in their nimble movements. "I have to get to the airport," Kurt said, even though his plane back to New York wasn’t due for another eight hours. He finished fixing up his shirt and looked down at himself and then sighed when he turned to face Blaine. "Last night was fun, Blaine, but we’ve been over this      we’re not dating.”

KLAINE, duh (i'm pretty sure i haven't sent you a ship so).

Who cooks: They alternate depending on the day of the week (cute schedule and all), and whoever’s cooking usually has help from the other unless they’re at work or busy.

Who does the laundry and other chores: Again, alternation. They help each other with laundry and do the other chores of the house whenever something has to be done.

How many children do they have: One. A little girl (in my mind named Elizabeth if surrogate daughter) that they both dote over and love to dress up and ask her about her day at school and fawn over her like the adorable parents they are. And if surrogacy, they plan to have a second child and hope it’s a boy, but probably will end up with two girls. 

Who’s more dominate: My head canon is Kurt normally, but Blaine can occasionally have a dominant streak (especially if he’s over-worked and stressed at his job).

Favorite nonsexual activity: Cuddling and critque-watching television shows together when they don’t have to worry about bills because they’re all caught up or their daughter because she’s fast asleep. And it reminds them of their high school days.

Their favorite place to be together: At home with their daughter.

Any traditions: Holiday duets, of course. ;) 

Their “song”: Teenage Dream.

What they do for each other on holidays: They would each try to surprise the other but would probably end up ruining the surprise because they know each other so well. They spend the day with their daughter, showering her in gifts and love, and cook the holiday meals together while playing themed music and singing along to it. 

Where did they go for their honeymoon: Their big honeymoon was delayed because they got married young but finally they go to France, but I can’t tell you why. I just imagine them going to France and having a totally romantic honeymoon. 

Where did they first meet: Dalton, of course.

Any pets: A cat and a dog. Kurt wanted a cat but Blaine wanted a dog so in the end, they just adopted one of each and they’re a part of the family. They even get little outfits to dress up in when going out / on Halloween, though Kurt’s more guilty of it than Blaine is.

What do they fight over: Small things that quickly become over-dramatized because of their personalities. i.e being too busy and not paying attention to the other, feeling neglected, etc.  

Do they go on vacations, if so where: Definitely. They go on vacations as often as they can and love to take their daughter to explore new places, even if it’s just back to Lima to visit their families and introduce her to her grandparents.

Give me a ship and I’ll tell you:

Who cooks: Definitely Kurt. I can see Kurt being like “oh no you’re not cooking i would like to eat dinner tonight thank you” in a teasing way because of Finn’s past experiences in the kitchen but then maybe one day Finn would cook a really amazing dinner and Kurt would be like, “what did you do with Finn.”

Who does the laundry and other chores: Finn, even if he might not want to. I feel like Kurt would probably talk him into the chores.

How many children do they have:  One, a young boy they adopted.

Who’s more dominate: Okay, when it comes to Kinn I feel like they could both be dominant at times (I’ve read too many GKM fics). 

Favorite nonsexual activity: Eating together and having time to just talk and be together after a long day.

Their favorite place to be together: Home, as cliche as it is. I imagine Kurt and Finn having very busy alternating schedules so whenever they have time to be together at home doing anything, it’s much appreciated.

Any traditions: I have two: a) watching the Superbowl together, and it’s the only sports game of the year where Kurt really pretends to care about what’s going on because he loves how excited and into it Finn gets, and b) Skype calls whenever Kurt’s in New York for work.

Their “song”: Just The Way You Are - Bruno Mars

What they do for each other on holidays: Going out for dinner, watching a silly holiday movie, exchanging presents the night before while their son is asleep.

Where did they go for their honeymoon: Somewhere with a resort, because Kurt burns easily when out in the sun too long but they’d both want to go somewhere where they could relax and have fun.

Where did they first meet: In high school.

Any pets: A cat, which Kurt would totally treat like a child before they had a son. And continue to treat like a second child.

What do they fight over: Mostly small things, like messes or things being disorganized around the house. Kurt also has a jealous streak and before they settled down and got serious, would occasionally worry about the possibility of Finn realizing it was just a phase.

Do they go on vacations, if so where: New York. Kurt might work in New York but I can see them settling down outside of New York because Finn isn’t a big fan of the inner workings of the city and Kurt would want him to be comfortable, so he doesn’t really get to spend time in the city for anything other than work. To accommodate, they take trips to NYC together and watch a Broadway show. Also, California to visit Mercedes and Puck.

     Blaine groaned in his sleep when his own name reached his ears

      but that was the only sign that he had heard Kurt. It was safe to say       that Blaine Anderson was not a morning person but waking up with       soft fingers running through his hair was always worth it. The younger       man nuzzled into Kurt’s fingers as his eyes slowly drifted open.

                               ”If you do that, I’ll be forced to steal it from you.”

      His voice was low as he spoke, sleep still lacing his tone. He opened his       eyes, blinking them a few times to adjust to the morning light. Blaine smiled       when his fiance’s face came into view. It didn’t surprise him that Kurt still       seemed to amaze him, even after nearly three years together. He knew he       would never feel this way about someone again, that much was proved       a long time ago.

                                            “Good morning.”

      Blaine leaned forward and pressed his lips to Kurt’s softly. He lingered there       for a bit before pulling away and running his thumb along the right side of his       jaw, a smile still visible on his face. He looked Kurt in the eyes again before       whispering a soft,

                                                        “—Love you.”

"Mmm, good morning,"       It was impossible not to allow himself a few minutes of just laying       there and soaking it all in. He returned the kiss, and a part of him       didn't want to leave bed - god, could he use a vacation. Everything       about waking up in the same bed was just what he imagined it would       be - the wild, curly hair framing Blaine's face and all.                      "I love you, too."       He returned easily, humming to himself as he moved closer in order            to be able to kiss Blaine. The kiss was longer, morning breath be       damned. " I wish we didn't have to get up, but sadly.."      He pulled back and reached blindly for his phone       to check the time, almost dropping it and laughing at himself.                                                     "How do you feel about pancakes?"
